EFFECT OF USING DIFFERENT LEVELS OF CAMEL FAT (HUMP FAT) ON PHYSIOCHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF SAUSAGE FROM BEEF CAMEL AND CHICKEN : EFFECT OF USING DIFFERENT LEVELS OF CAMEL FAT (HUMP FAT) ON PHYSIOCHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF SAUSAGE FROM BEEF CAMEL AND CHICKEN

ABSTRACT

This study was conducted to determine the effect of various levels of hump fat (HF) used in manufacturing of camel, beef and chicken sausage to understand the effect of (HF) on physicochemical composition sausage, Different levels of hump fat (5, 7, and 10 %) were used, physicochemical compositions like (moisture, protein, fat, Ash, water holding capacity, shrinkage, cooking loss and pH) were determined. Results of the study revealed that moisture content showed high significant differences (P≤0.01)among treatments groups, Camel sausage and beef sausage tended to have highest values while chicken sausage reported the lowest value. The study showed no significant difference (P≤0.05) among the treatment groups although 7% HF reported the highest value of moisture. Crude protein values showed no significant differences depending on sausage type, while it exhibited significant differences (P≤0.05) among the treatments groups and 7% HF reported the highest value. Ether extract values showed no significant difference (P≤0.05) among the treatments groups due to both sausage type and Hump fat level. Due to sausage types ash values showed significant differences (P≤0.05) among   treatments where   camel sausage samples  showed the highest value while chicken sausage samples showed the lowest value. Concerning to Water Holding Capacity (W.H.C) sausage type factor reported no significant differences (P≤0.01)among treatments group. Due to hump fat levels the study showed highly significant differences (P≤0.05) among the treatment groups although 7% HF reported the highest value. On the other hands Cooking Loss, Shrinkage and pH showed no significant difference (P≤0.05) among the treatment groups in both factors types of sausage and different levels of hump fat. Hump fat in percentage 5%, 7% and 10% could be incorporate in sausage formulation and the best level of fat in sausage formulation has 7%.

Removal of Phenolic Compounds from Aqueous Solution by Using Agricultural Waste (Al-Khriet)

Adsorption techniques are widely used to remove organics pollutants from waste water particularly, when using low cost adsorbent available in Iraq. Al-Khriet powder which was found in legs of Typha Domingensis is used as bio sorbent for removing phenolic compounds from aqueous solution. The influence of adsorbent dosage and contact time on removal percentage and adsorb ate amount of phenol and 4- nitro phenol onto Al-Khriet were studied. The highest adsorption capacity was for 4-nitrophenol 91.5% than for phenol 82% with 50 mg/L concentration, 0.5 gm. dosage of adsorbent and pH 6 under a batch condition. Removal of amoxicillin from contaminated water using modified bentonite as a reactive material

This study concerns the removal of a trihydrate antibiotic (Amoxicillin) from synthetically contaminated water by adsorption on modified bentonite. The bentonite was modified using hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (HTAB), which turned it from a hydrophilic to a hydrophobic material. The effects of different parameters were studied in batch experiments. These parameters were contact time, solution pH, agitation speed, initial concentration (C0) of the contaminant, and adsorbent dosage. On Finitely Null-additive and Finitely Weakly Null-additive Relative to the σ–ring

     This article introduces the concept of finitely null-additive set function relative to the σ– ring and many properties of this concept have been discussed. Furthermore, to introduce and study the notion of finitely weakly null-additive set function relative to the σ– ring as a generalization of some concepts such as measure, countably additive, finitely additive, countably null-additive, countably weakly null-additive and finitely null-additive. As the first result, it has been proved that every finitely null-additive is a finitely weakly null-additive. Finally, the paper introduces a study of the concept of outer measure as a stronger form of finitely weakly null-additive.

To evaluate the level of CTHRC1 protein in the sera of 100 RA patients and 25 control and compare levels of tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interleukin 10 (IL-10), RA disease activity (DAS28), and inflammatory factors.
