STUDY THE CONTAMINATION OF WATER BOTTLES WITH SOME CHEMICALS DUE TO HEAT EXPOSURE: STUDY THE CONTAMINATION OF WATER BOTTLES WITH SOME CHEMICALS DUE TO HEAT EXPOSURE
...Show More Authors

The transfer of chemical pollutants from bottled water into water due to heat, sunlight and poor storage is one of the most serious threats to human health around the world, the objective of this study was to estimate the pH value and the transport of heavy metals from plastic bottles to water, for this purpose, 30 bottles of water for 10 local brands were collected and divided into three groups, the first was left at room temperature 25°C, The second was placed in a heat oven at 25°C and the third in another oven at 50°C for two weeks. The results showed significant differences at (P<0.05) between water samples, pH value and concentrations of heavy metals (Sb, Pb, Ni, Cu, Cr, Cd and Fe) were measured on the first day and two weeks for all samples. The results showed a decrease in the pH value with increasing temperature and continuous storage while maintaining its values in all measurements within the acceptable limits approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Iraqi standard for bottled water, on the first day, high concentrations of heavy metals Pb, Cr, Cd and Fe were recorded in some samplesreaching 0.1117, 1.5192, 0.0298, and 1.0120 mg/ L respectively, which is higher than the acceptable limits approved by the WHO and the Iraqi standard, all Cu values on the first day within limits, antimony and l nickel-free,while the concentration of most elements in all the water bottles that storage at 50°C for two weeks reach to 1.6140, 0.8311, 3.8402, 3.7850, 1.9571, and 2.0281 mg/ L for Pb, Ni, Cu, Cr, Cd and Fe respectively, With samples free of antimony.

Study the Effect of Welding Heat Input on the Microstructure, Hardness, and Impact Toughness of AISI 1015 Steel
...Show More Authors

In the present study, MIG welding is carried out on low carbon steel type (AISI 1015) by using electrode ER308L of 1.5mm diameter with direct current straight polarity (DCSP). The joint geometry is of a single V-butt joint with one pass welding stroke for different plate thicknesses of 6, 8, and 10 mm. In welding experiments, AISI 1015 plates with dimensions of 200×100mm and edge angle of 60o from both sides are utilized. In this work, three main parameters related to MIG welding process are investigated, which are welding current, welding speed, heat input and plate thickness, and to achieve that three groups of plates are employed each one consists of three plates. The results indicate that increasing the weld heat input (t

A study of Irrigation Water Pollution By Some Heavy Metals in Baghdad Governorate
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>A study of irrigation water was conducted Baghdad city to find out extent of its pollution by some heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Ni, Co, CU, Cr, Zn and Fe). Water samples were collected randomly from different sources (river, well and stream). Results showed that the concentration of studied heavy metals were as follows: Lead between 0.43-11.75 mg L-1, Cadmium between 0.01-0.95 mg L-1, Nickel between 0.008-0.46 mg L-1, Cobalt between Nil - 0.185 mg L-1, Copper is between 0.326 - 1.58 mg L-1, Chromium is between Nil-0.068 mg L-1, Zinc 0.398-1.182 mg L-1, as for Iro</p> ... The study of physical and chemical properties of wells water in district of Samarra
...Show More Authors

The Study was achieved adjectives physical and chemical water wells in the district of
Samarra , where a study has 42 sample groundwater in different regions of the judiciary
randomly distributed all over the judiciary and examined in vitro.
The study showed that the quality of groundwater in the general area of study
Kipritateh punctuated Klordih water quality and other quality Bicarboonatih.
Varied the key components of groundwater in the study area in concentrations
between periods of rain and drought, especially because of the cation ion exchange processes
as well as mitigation as a result of filtering rain water and dominated the calcium ion,
followed by sodium.
As for the negative ions has dominated ion s

Risk-Based Inspection Due to Corrosion Consequences for Oil and Gas Flowline: A Review
...Show More Authors

The petroleum industry, which is one of the pillars of the national economy, has the potential to generate vast wealth and employment possibilities. The transportation of petroleum products is complicated and changeable because of the hazards caused by the corrosion consequences. Hazardous chemical leaks caused by natural disasters may harm the environment, resulting in significant economic losses. It significantly threatens the aim for sustainable development. When a result, determining the likelihood of leakage and the potential for environmental harm, it becomes a top priority for decision-makers as they develop maintenance plans. This study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the risks associated with oil and gas pipeli

Design an Efficient Neural Network to Determine the Rate of Contamination in the Tigris River in Baghdad City
...Show More Authors

This article proposes a new technique for determining the rate of contamination. First, a generative adversarial neural network (ANN) parallel processing technique is constructed and trained using real and secret images. Then, after the model is stabilized, the real image is passed to the generator. Finally, the generator creates an image that is visually similar to the secret image, thus achieving the same effect as the secret image transmission. Experimental results show that this technique has a good effect on the security of secret information transmission and increases the capacity of information hiding. The metric signal of noise, a structural similarity index measure, was used to determine the success of colour image-hiding t

A wavelet-based collocation technique to find the discontinuous heat source in inverse heat conduction problems

Abstract<p>This paper is devoted to an inverse problem of determining discontinuous space-wise dependent heat source in a linear parabolic equation from the measurements at the final moment. In the existing literature, a considerably accurate solution to the inverse problems with an unknown space-wise dependent heat source is impossible without introducing any type of regularization method but here we have to determine the unknown discontinuous space-wise dependent heat source accurately using the Haar wavelet collocation method (HWCM) without applying the regularization technique. This HWCM is based on finite-difference and Haar wavelets approximation to the inverse problem. In contrast to othe</p> ... Show More

Contamination with Proteus and Staphylococcus spp. Effect on Physical Properties of Sheep Semen
...Show More Authors

This study was designed to determine the effect of bacterial contamination degree and type with Proteus mirabilis alone and Staphylococcus aureus alone and mixed of them species in ejaculation samples of fertile ram semen during storage quality. Semen was collected from six healthy mature rams using electro-ejaculator method, once a week, for the period 1/12/2022 to 1/2/2023. PH, motility (mass and individual), live sperm percentage and abnormal acrosomes of sperms were studied. Isolation and identification of Proteus mirabilis and Staphylococcus aureus species viable bacterial was recorded with routine bacterial detection work and molecular using PCR technique. Semen samples were divided into four groups: Group 1 (G1) was used as control w
