The study deals with palaeoecology and paleoclimates of Holocene sediments of historical Babylon area on palynological evidence which located at Euphrates river, (100) Km south of Baghdad. Links between environmental and socio- cultural changes are explored in archaeological and palaeoenvironmental data. The increased social and cultural developments as a response of enhanced aridity, driven by population accumulation in environments characterized by the presence of surface water resource. An experimental study is conducted on the utilization of the inlet ethanol injection technique in order to evaluate its impact on the performance of a two-shaft T200D mini-gas turbine engine. The maximum degradation recorded in power output was 32.8% at the climate temperature of 45^oC. Nevertheless, at that temperature, adding ethanol with Eth/LPG ratio of 20% by volume brought an enhancement in power output of 19.2% compared to normal LPG run. The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the units and subunits of Mishrif Formation in Garraf oil field 85 km north of Nasiriyah city depending mainly on the geophysical well logging data and other amiable geological information. The sets of the geophysical well logs data acquired from GA-4, GA- AIP, GA- B8P, GA-3 and GA-5 wells of Garraf oil field are used to determine the petrophysical and lithological properties for each zone in Mishrif Formation to locate, define and evaluate hydrocarbon production from each zone in the reservoir which is also known as formation evaluation. The digitization was done by using Didger software and the interpretations were made using Interactive Petrophysics Program v 3.5 and Petrel software.

The aim of this study is to develop the science textbook for the 1st intermediate grade by analyzing it according to life skills.
