Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a proinflammatory cytokine implicated in the immunopathogenesis of tuberculosis (TB). TB is recognized worldwide as an important public health issue. Background: COVID-19 is a disease that started in Wuhan/China in late 2019 and continued through 2020 worldwide.
