New azo ligand 2-((4-formyl-3-hydroxynaphthalen-2-yl) diazenyl) benzoic acid (H2L) was synthesized from the reaction of 2-aminobenzoic acid and2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde. Monomeric complexes of this ligand, of general formulae [MII(L)(H2O)] with (MII = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pd, Cd and Hg ) were reported. The prospective study has been designed to determine some biomarkers in Iraqi female patients with
breast cancer. The current study contained 30 patients whose tissue samples have been collected from
hospitals in Medical City in Baghdad after consent patients themselves and used immunohistochemical
technique to determine these markers. The results showed a significant correlation between ER and PR tissue
markers (Sig = 0.000) and a significant correlation between cyclin E phenotype and cyclin E intensity (Sig =
0.001).

     In this contribution, new derivatives of bicyclic fused rings with bridgehead nitrogen of 3-substituted imidazo/pyrimidine derivatives A1-A3 were synthesized by reacting 2-aminobenzothiazol, acetyl acetone, and different substituted aldehydes in a one-pot reaction. These compounds A1-A3 were then condensed with 4-bromobenzaldehyde and 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)benzaldehyde to form new chalcone derivatives A4-A9. Ring closure of these compounds A4-A9 with urea and malononitrile afforded new oxopyrimidine derivatives A10-A15 and cyanopyridine derivatives A16-A21, respectively. These compounds were characterized by FT-IR, ¹H NMR, and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy. The second part of this work included some of the i
