Background: The normal decline in systolic blood pressure during recovery phase of treadmill exercise dose not occur in most patients with coronary artery disease, in others recovery values systolic blood pressure may even exceed the peak exercise value. Objectives: Treadmill exercise test parameters indicating the presence and extent of coronary artery disease have traditionally included such as exercise duration, blood pressure and ST-segment response to exercise. The three –minute systolic blood pressure ratio is another important indicator of presence and significance of coronary artery disease is useful and obtainable measure that can be applied in all patients who are undergoing stress testing for evaluation of suspected ischemic heart disease and this increase the sensitivity of exercise test . Type of the study: A prospective study. Methods: Between April 2011 and April 2012 ,all patients underwent treadmill exercise test , echocardiography coronary angiography in Ibn Ab-bitar Hospital Cardiac Surgery. Clinical and procedural data for patients undergoing treadmill and coronary angiography were prospectively collected and entered into database specially designed for the present study. To calculate mean systolic blood pressure ratio for each , Measurement of blood pressure in the 3rd minute of recovery time and divided by peak systolic blood pressure during exercise test ,after excluding patients . Coronary angiography was done for all patients who under went treadmill exercise test and multiple views were taken accordingly to clarify the lesion and critical lesion defined as >50% stenosis in LMS and >70% stenosis in LAD,LCX and RCA. Results: We studied 100 patients In the period from April 2011 to April 2012, 78(78%) male and 22 (22%) a female with a mean age 55.49±7.60 who undergone treadmill exercise testing and coronary angiography to assess the chest pain, 32 patient had normal blood pressure 68 had hypertension and 24 patients had normal coronary angiography and 76 patients had abnormal coronary angiography. SBP/3 minute recovery blood pressure ratio was significantly higher in patient with coronary artery disease than patient without coronary artery disease (mean ±SD O.92±0.09 VS 0.81 SBP/3 minute recovery blood pressure ratio was significantly related with the severity of coronary artery disease its higher in three vessels than one vessel disease 0.95±0.10 vs0. 91 ±0.01 p-value 0.0001. Conclusions: post exercise blood pressure response in patients with coronary artery diseaseis higher than patients with normal coronary artery .post exercise blood pressure is related to the severity of coronary artery disease
The tourism activity is one of the pillars on which the economy of any country is based , the importance of the tourism sector is reflected in its potential to become an effective development alternative in many countries, especially Iraq ,this has a direct impact on the national economy as an important source in attracting hard currency and eliminating unemployment. Adding the Iraqi Marshlands to the list of effects makes it contribute to diversification of sources of income and stimulating rest of the economic sectors, the potentials and qualifications possessed by Iraq in the field of tourism and monuments have a significant impact on the state budget if they were exploited optimally. The research aims at identifying the contr

The study aims to investigate the feasibility of bio-manufacturing nanocapsules of fungal secondary metabolites in order to improve the efficiency of metabolite and assess their inhibitory effect on the acetylcholine esterase enzyme in housefly larvae. An equal mixture of organic solvents, ethyl acetate and dichloromethane, was used to extract the metabolic products of the fungus M. anisopliae, (PEG4000) and chitosan was used in the preparation of nanocapsules. The results of the DLS granular size assay showed that the size of the extract particles and the size of the chitosan and

The aim of this designed study is to evaluate the ability of guggulsterone to prevent high fat diet induced steatohepatitis in mice. Five groups of male mice were selected and treated as the following: group I, mice had free access to standard commercial diet and considered as control group, group II, mice were fed a specially formulated high-fat diet for 12 weeks to induce non-alcoholic liver disease, while groups III, IV and V the mice were administered high fat diet containing guggulsterone at 500, 1000 and 2000 ppm concentration respectively for 12 weeks. These solutions are achieved by focusing on the role of accounting information on the financial projects in for example, hotel construction, and by providing the necessary accounting information for the concerned parties to finance these projects. In order to highlight the challenges associated with the funding of small and medium enterprises and the role of accounting information in reducing those challenges, a questionnaire was prepared. As the government authorities are the ones responsible for the accomplishment of these projects, a questionnaire form was distributed in the proje

The blood-borne viral infection was proposed as a risk factor due to the recurrent blood transfusion regimen (hemotherapy) as human parvovirus B19 (B19V). Objective: This study investigated the B19V seroprevalence, DNA presence, B19V viral load, and B19V genotypes in β-TM patients and blood donors. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study incorporating 180 subjects, segregated into three distinct groups each of 60 patients, namely control, β-TM, and β-TM infected with Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). For the B19V prevalence in the studied group, the ELISA technique and real-time PCR were used. The genotyping was follo
