and female genitalia. The species Diplacodes Triviales Rambure was new record to Iraqi
fauna of Odonata.

    This article reports the first record of Aenasius arizonensis (Girault, 1915) (Hymenoptera, Encyrtidae) parasitizing the recently introduced species of cotton mealybug, Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsly (Hemiptera, Psedococcidae) infesting Lantana camara L. (Verbeneceae) as well as other ornamental plants in Baghdad province, Iraq.  A short morphological description is also presented.

The work included study of external morphology of white cabbage butterfly Pieris rapae (Linnaeus, 1758). The study included the external morphological characters of different body regions in addition to the male and female genitalia. The studied morphological characters were supported by photos and illustrations. Specimens of the work were collected from north and middle of Iraq and dates and sites of collection were fixed.

In our galaxy there are nine naked plerionic systems known, of which the Crab Nebula is the best-known example. Here we report for the first time the presence of Apoleptomastix bicoloricornis (Girault, 1915) (Hymenoptera, Encyrtidae), as parasitoid of the rice mealybug, Brevennia rehi (Lindinger, 1943) (Hemiptera, Psedococcidae) in Iraq. Brief notes are provided in distinguishing the parasitoid from other closely allied species.
