BACKGROUND: Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) is common, yet no curative treatment identified. Cinnamon is a herbal substance, which has many applications in medicine. This study evaluated Rosmarinus officinalis essential oil for its phytochemical and antibacterial properties.
