Proposed Speech Analyses Method Using the Multiwavelet Transform

Speech is the first invented way of communication that human used age before the invention of writing. In this paper, proposed method for speech analyses to extract features by using multiwavelet Transform (Repeated Row Preprocessing). The proposed system depends on the Euclidian differences of the coefficients of the multiwavelet Transform to determine the beast features of speech recognition. Each sample value in the reference file is computed by taking the average value of four samples for the same data (four speakers for the same phoneme). The result of the input data to every frame value in the reference file using the Euclidian distance to determine the frame with the minimum distance is said to be the "Best Match". Simulation program using visual basic has been in order to determine final results.

On The Double Integral Transform (Complex EE Transform) and Their Properties and Applications

Due to the importance of solutions of partial differential equations, linear, nonlinear, homogeneous, and non-homogeneous, in important life applications, including engineering applications, physics and astronomy, medical sciences, and life technology, and their importance in solutions to heat transfer equations, wave, Laplace equation, telegraph, etc. In this paper, a new double integral transform has been proposed.

In this work, we have introduced a new double transform ( Double Complex EE Transform ). In addition, we presented the convolution theorem and proved the properties of the proposed transform, which has an effective and useful role in dealing with the solution of two-dimensional partial differential equations. Moreover

Comparison of weighted estimated method and proposed method (BEMW) for estimation of semi-parametric model under incomplete data

Generally, statistical methods are used in various fields of science, especially in the research field, in which Statistical analysis is carried out by adopting several techniques, according to the nature of the study and its objectives. One of these techniques is building statistical models, which is done through regression models. This technique is considered one of the most important statistical methods for studying the relationship between a dependent variable, also called (the response variable) and the other variables, called covariate variables. This research describes the estimation of the partial linear regression model, as well as the estimation of the “missing at random” values (MAR). Regarding the

Multiwavelet based-approach to detect shared congestion in computer networks

Internet paths sharing the same congested link can be identified using several shared congestion detection techniques. The new detection technique which is proposed in this paper depends on the previous novel technique (delay correlation with wavelet denoising (DCW) with new denoising method called Discrete Multiwavelet Transform (DMWT) as signal denoising to separate between queuing delay caused by network congestion and delay caused by various other delay variations. The new detection technique provides faster convergence (3 to 5 seconds less than previous novel technique) while using fewer probe packets approximately half numbers than the previous novel technique, so it will reduce the overload on the network caused by probe packets.

Satellite Image Mosaics Using Digital Cosine Transform (DCT) Descriptor

In this research work, a modified DCT descriptor are presented to mosaics the satellite images based on Abdul Kareem [1] similarity criterion are presented, new method which is proposed to speed up the mosaics process is presented. The results of applying the modified DCT descriptor are compared with the mosaics method using RMSE similarity criterion which prove that the modified DCT descriptor to be fast and accurate mosaics method.

A new technique for solving fractional nonlinear equations by sumudu transform and adomian decomposition method

A novel technique Sumudu transform Adomian decomposition method (STADM), is employed to handle some kinds of nonlinear time-fractional equations. We demonstrate that this method finds the solution without discretization or restrictive assumptions. This method is efficient, simple to implement, and produces good results. The fractional derivative is described in the Caputo sense. The solutions are obtained using STADM, and the results show that the suggested technique is valid and applicable and provides a more refined convergent series solution. The MATLAB software carried out all the computations and graphics. Moreover, a graphical representation was made for the solution of some examples. For integer and fractional order problems, solutio

Classification of Cardiac Arrhythmia using ID3 Classifier Based on Wavelet Transform

Accurate detection of Electro Cardio Graphic (ECG) features is an important demand for medical purposes, therefore an accurate algorithm is required to detect these features. This paper proposes an approach to classify the cardiac arrhythmia from a normal ECG signal based on wavelet decomposition and ID3 classification algorithm. First, ECG signals are denoised using the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and the second step is extract the ECG features from the processed signal. Interactive Dichotomizer 3 (ID3) algorithm is applied to classify the different arrhythmias including normal case. Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Beth Israel Hospital (MIT-BIH) Arrhythmia Database is used to evaluate the ID3 algorithm. The experimental resul

Color Image Denoising Using Stationary Wavelet Transform and Adaptive Wiener Filter

The denoising of a natural image corrupted by Gaussian noise is a problem in signal or image processing.  Much work has been done in the field of wavelet thresholding but most of it was focused on statistical modeling of wavelet coefficients and the optimal choice of thresholds.  This paper describes a new method for the suppression of noise in image by fusing the stationary wavelet denoising technique with adaptive wiener filter. The wiener filter is applied to the reconstructed image for the approximation coefficients only, while the thresholding technique is applied to the details coefficients of the transform, then get the final denoised image is obtained by combining the two results. The proposed method was applied by usin

Dual Stages of Speech Enhancement Algorithm Based on Super Gaussian Speech Models

Various speech enhancement Algorithms (SEA) have been developed in the last few decades. Each algorithm has its advantages and disadvantages because the speech signal is affected by environmental situations. Distortion of speech results in the loss of important features that make this signal challenging to understand. SEA aims to improve the intelligibility and quality of speech that different types of noise have degraded. In most applications, quality improvement is highly desirable as it can reduce listener fatigue, especially when the listener is exposed to high noise levels for extended periods (e.g., manufacturing). SEA reduces or suppresses the background noise to some degree, sometimes called noise suppression alg
