In this research, we prepared a hybrid composite material of polymeric matrix hand cast method, composite material has been attended from epoxy resin EP as matrix materials reinforced woven roving fiber jute is constant volume fraction (13%), PVC fibers and woven glass fiber with different fraction on the properties of prepared composite materials to PVC fiber and glass fiber, some of mechanical tests were done at room temperature (impact test and banding test). Result shows that the values of (modulus bending elastic and fracture toughness) increase fraction of fiber with the increase of PVC, E-glass, there include (thermal conductivity and dielectric constant). Also experimental result indicated that the (thermal conductivity and dielectric constant) increase with the increase of fiber volume fraction.
In this investigation insulator ceramic body was prepared by using iraqi local materials, these are kaolin, silica sand glass, feldspar with weight percentage (45%,25%, 30%)respectively. After the end of treating drying and milling of raw material mixing with different concentrations of sodium silicate(1%,0.7%,0.5%,0.2%,0.1%) while zinc oxide was added at fixed weight percentage. Show MoreThis research study the effect of surface modification and copper (Cu) plating carbon fiber (CF) surface on the thermal stability and wettability of carbon fiber (CF)/epoxy (EP) composites. The TGA result indicates that the thermal-stability of carbon fiber may be enhanced after Cu coating CF. TGA curve showed that the treatment temperature was enhanced thermal stability of Ep/CF, this is due to the oxidation during heating. The Cu plating increased the thermal conductivity, this increase might be due to reduce in contact resistance at the interface due to chemical modification and copper plating and tunneling resistance.

The composites were manufactured and study the effect of addition of filler (nanoparticles SiO2 treated with silane) at different weight ratios (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) %, on electrical, mechanical and thermal properties. Materials were mixed with each other using an ultrasound, and then pour the mixture into the molds to suit all measurements. The electrical characteristics were studied within a range of frequencies (50-1M) Hz at room temperature, where the best results were shown at the fill ratio (1%), and thermal properties at (X=3 %), the mechanical properties at the filler ratio (2%).
