Ϣ-Semi-p Open Set :
...Show More Authors

Csaszar introduced the concept of generalized topological space and a new open set in a generalized topological space called -preopen in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Definitions of -preinterior and -preclosuer were given. Successively, several studies have appeared to give many generalizations for an open set. The object of our paper is to give a new type of generalization of an open set in a generalized topological space called -semi-p-open set. We present the definition of this set with its equivalent. We give definitions of -semi-p-interior and -semi-p-closure of a set and discuss their properties. Also the properties of -preinterior and -preclosuer are discussed. In addition, we give a new type of continuous function in a generalized topological space as -semi-p-continuous function and -semi-p-irresolute function. The relationship between them are showen. We prove that every -open ( -preopen) set is an -semi-p-open set, but not conversely. Every -semi-p-irresolute function is an -semi-p-continuous function, but not conversely. Also we show that the union of any family of -semi-p-open sets is an -semi-p-open set, but the intersection of two -semi-p-open sets need not to be an -semi-p-open set.

Adsorption Of Phenol And P-Nitro Phenol Onto Date Stones: Equilibrium Isotherms, Kinetics and Thermodynamics Studies
...Show More Authors

Adsorption capacity of a waste biomass, date stones, for phenolic compounds such as phenol (Ph) and p-nitro phenol (PNPh) was investigated. The characteristics of such waste biomass were determined and found to have a surface area and iodine number of 495.71 m²/g and 475.88 mg/g, respectively. The effects of temperature, initial sorbate concentration, and contact time on the adsorption process were studied. Experimental equilibrium data for adsorption of Ph and PNPh on date stones were analyzed by the Langmuir, Freundlich and Sips isotherm models. The results show that the best fit was achieved with the Sips isotherm equation with maximum adsorption capacities of 147.09 and 179.62 mg/g for Ph and PNPh, respectively. The kinetic data wer

Condition assessment and rehabilitation for trunk sewer deterioration based on Semi-Markov model
...Show More Authors

An accurate assessment of the pipes’ conditions is required for effective management of the trunk sewers. In this paper the semi-Markov model was developed and tested using the sewer dataset from the Zublin trunk sewer in Baghdad, Iraq, in order to evaluate the future performance of the sewer. For the development of this model the cumulative waiting time distribution of sewers was used in each condition that was derived directly from the sewer condition class and age data. Results showed that the semi-Markov model was inconsistent with the data by adopting ( 2 test) and also, showed that the error in prediction is due to lack of data on the sewer waiting times at each condition state which can be solved by using successive conditi

On P-Essential Submodules
...Show More Authors

Let  be a commutative ring with identity and let   be an R-module. We call an R-submodule  of  as P-essential if  for each nonzero prime submodule  of    and 0  . Also, we call an R-module  as P-uniform if every non-zero submodule  of  is P-essential. We give some properties of P-essential and introduce many properties to P-uniform R-module. Also, we give conditions under which a submodule  of a multiplication R-module  becomes P-essential. Moreover, various properties of P-essential submodules are considered.

Applications for the groups S.U.T.(2,p) where p prime upper than 9
...Show More Authors

The problem of finding the cyclic decomposition (c.d.) for the groups ), where  prime upper than 9 is determined in this work. Also, we compute the Artin characters (A.ch.) and Artin indicator (A.ind.) for the same groups, we obtain that after computing the conjugacy classes, cyclic subgroups, the ordinary character table (o.ch.ta.) and the rational valued character table for each group.

Semi-essentially prime modules
...Show More Authors

Let R be a commutative ring with 1 and M be a (left) unitary R – module. This essay gives generalizations for the notions prime module and some concepts related to it. We termed an R – module M as semi-essentially prime if annR (M) = annR (N) for every non-zero semi-essential submodules N of M. Given some of their advantages characterizations and examples, and we study the relation between these and some classes of modules.

Soft Bornological Group Acts on Soft Bornological Set
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we introduce the notation of the soft bornological group to solve the problem of boundedness for the soft group. We combine soft set theory with bornology space to produce a new structure which is called    soft bornological group. So that both the product and inverse maps are soft bounded. As well as, we study the actions of the soft bornological group on the soft bornological sets. The aim soft bornological set is to partition into orbital classes by acting soft bornological group on the soft bornological set. In addition, we explain the centralizer, normalizer, and stabilizer in details. The main important results are to prove that the product of soft bornological groups is soft bornol

...Show More Authors

In this study a new composite nano material was prepared and characterized through the polymerization of inter attuplgie layered m-phenylendiamine with p-kresol. The results indicated that the propagated polymer separated the clay aluminosilicate layers as a two dimensional nano-sheets soaked in the prepared polymer matrix with losing the original fibrous structure of Attuplgite clay.

Calculations of the Quadrupole Moments for Some Nitrogen Isotopes in p and psd Shell Model Spaces Using Different Effective Charges
...Show More Authors

The electric quadrupole moments for some nitrogen isotopes (12,14,15,16,18N) are
studied by shell model calculations with the proton-neutron formalism. Theoretical
calculations performed using the different set of effective charges due to the core
polarization effect. The effective charges in the p-shell nuclei are found to be
slightly different from those in the sd-shell nuclei. Most of the results we have
obtained are underestimated with the measured data for the isotopes considered in
this work.
