On θ-Totally Disconnected and θ-Light Mappings

        In our research, we introduced new concepts, namely *and **-light mappings, after we knew *and **-totally disconnected mappings through the use of -open sets.

Many examples, facts, relationships and results have been given to support our work.

On a New Kind of Collection of Subsets Noted by δ–field and Some Concepts Defined on δ–field

     The objective of this paper is, first, study a new collection of sets such as field and we discuss the properties of this collection. Second, introduce a new concepts related to the field such as measure on field, outer measure on field and we obtain some important results deals with these concepts. Third, introduce the concept of null-additive on field as a generalization of the concept of measure on field. Furthermore, we establish new concept related to - field noted by weakly null-additive on field as a generalizations of the concepts of measure on and null-additive. Finally, we introduce the restriction of a set function  on field and many of its properties and characterizations are given.

Synthesis And Characterization of 5-(Mercapto-1,3,4Thiadiazole-2yl)α,α-Diphenyl Methanol From Benzilic Acid

  5-(mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2yl)α,α-(diphenyl)methanol have been synthesized by ring closer of potassium xanthate[which  have been prepared by reaction of benzilic acid hydrazide with carbon disulphide in potassium hydroxide] using conc.sulphuric acid at (0-5)°C scheme(I).       Their characterization was carried out from T.L.C, M.P, FT.IR and 1H-NMR.

Generalized Strong Commutativity Preserving Centralizers of Semiprime Γ- Rings

     In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized strong commutativity (Cocommutativity) preserving right centralizers on a subset of a Γ-ring. And we generalize some results of a classical ring to a gamma ring.

Strong and Weak Forms of μ-Kc-Spaces

In this paper, we provide some types of - -spaces, namely, - ( )- (respectively, - ( )- , - ( )- and - ( )-) spaces for minimal structure spaces which are denoted by ( -spaces). Some properties and examples are given.
The relationships between a number of types of - -spaces and the other existing types of weaker and stronger forms of -spaces are investigated. Finally, new types of open (respectively, closed) functions of -spaces are introduced and some of their properties are studied.

The Effect of Doping by Sr on the Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Characterization of La1Ba1-xSrx Ca2Cu4O8.5+δ

       The Sr doped La1Ba1-xSrx Ca2Cu4O8.5+δ samples with 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.3 had been prepared using the solid state reaction. The samples were claimed at 800°C for 3hr, palletized and sintered at 860°C for 20hr in air . Dielectric constant and loss by means of capacitance have been investigated with frequencies in the range of 1kHZ to 1MHZ for our samples at room temperature. Also, Shore hardness has been measured. The dielectric constant and loss decrease slightly with the increase of frequency for all compounds. Evaluation of α1-Antitrypsine and Reduced Glutathione in Iraqi Patients of Diabetes Mellitus Type II.

In order to investigate the levels of reduced glutathione GSH and  α1-antitrypsine in the sera of 20 type 2 diabetic patients and 10 healthy subjects, were enrolled in this study. A significant reduction in GSH level was found in the patient group compared with control.  On the other hand a significant elevation in α1-antitrypsine in patient compared with control was observed.  Correlation between α1-antitrypsine and reduced glutathion was found to be positive (+Ve) for diabetes mellitus type2 patients and negative (-Ve) for healthy control with r values 0.257 and – 0.339 respectively.  In conclusion the depletion of GSH as antioxidant defense insured higher free radical generation in diabetic patients

The Effect of Aqueous Extract and Essential Oils of the Leaves of Eucalyptus incrassate on β- Lactam Resistant Staphylococcus aureus

According to the extraction procedure , Eucalyptus incrassata leave sample yielded 5% and 2% w/w(Based on dry leaves ) of the aqueous extract and essential oils respectively. Disk diffusion method was used to determine the antimicrobial activity of aqueous extract and essential oils of E . incrassata leaves against eight isolates of multidrug- resistant of Staphylococcus aureus ( S. aureus) . Determining of Cross Sections for 16O(n,α)13C reaction from Cross Sections of 13C(α,n)16O for the ground state

  In this study, light elements for 13C , 16O for  (α,n) and (n,α) reactions as well as α-particle energy  from 2.7 MeV  to 3.08 MeV are used as far as the data of reaction cross sections are available. The more recent cross sections data of (α,n) and (n,α) reactions are reproduced in fine steps 0.02 MeV for  16O (n,α) 13C  in the specified energy range, as well as cross section (α,n)  values were derived from the published data of (n,α) as a function of α-energy in the same fine energy steps by using the principle inverse reactions. This calculation involves only the ground state of  13C , 16O  in the reactions 13C (α,n) 16O  and  16O (n,α) 13C.
