Finding a new source of resistance is important to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides, which can meet the global need of suppressing pollution. In this study, the resistance of eight eggplant cultivars to Aphis gossypii was evaluated. Results of the current study highlighted that the cultivar Long-Green has a very strong resistance after 14 days post infestation whereas Pearl-Round and White-Casper cultivars were susceptible. The rest of the tested cultivars (Green-oblong, Purple-panter, Paris, Ashbilia, and Barcelona) had mild resistance. This research involves an indirect Fluorophotometric method for the determination of microgram amount of oxymetazoline hydrochloride in the concentration range 0.1-5.0 g/ml. The method is based on the oxidation of the drug by cerium sulphate solution which is acidic medium where Ce IV is reduced to Ce III which can be excited at 259 nm to give an emitted light at 377 nm which  is directly proportional to the concentration of Ce III which is equivalent to Ce IV that is needed to oxidize the studied drug. This study proposed control system that has been presented to control the electron lens resistance in order to obtain a stabilized electron lens power. This study will layout the fundamental challenges, hypothetical plan arrangements and development condition for the Integrable Optics Test Accelerator (IOTA) in progress at Fermilab. Thus, an effective automatic gain  control (AGC) unit has been introduced which prevents fluctuations in the internal resistance of the electronic lens caused by environmental influences to affect the system's current and power values ​​and keep them in stable amounts.
