Investigation of Linear Polarization for a Specimen Insulator of Scanning Electron Microscope in Sense of Mirror Efectronic Phenomenon

An analytical procedure has been carried out to measure the charge that may be trapped in an insulator sample of scanning electron microscope. It mainly concerns the determination of the deduced polarization charges by means of mirror effect phenomenon. Several relations related to such issue have been modified so as to be applicable for regarding charges due to polarization in linear and isotropic material. Consequently, the potential arises as a result for both trapped free and polarization charges which is set up. Actually the well-known magnification factor method is adopted to be a case study to implement the introduced approach. Results have clearly showed that the polarization charge significantly influences the Coulomb’s force that incoming electrons suffer from. Furthermore, the variation in the sample potential mainly depends on the dielectric constant of the specimen material.

states in the 13C nucleus. 4He is considered as an inert core with
nine nucleons out of it (the model space of nucleus). Form factors are calculated by
using Cohen-Kurath interaction for 1p-shell model space with Modified Surface
Delta Interaction (MSDI) as a residual interaction for higher configuration. The
study of core-polarization effects on the form factors is based on microscopic
theory, which combines shell model wave functions and configurations with higher
energy as the first order perturbation. The radial wave functions

E4An Ultrastructural Study by Transmission Electron Microscope of Exocrine Pancreatic Cells in Diabetic Rats Treated with Herbal Combination

The current study was designed to investigate the alterations in the ultrastructure of orgenelles and cellular activity of exocrine pancreatic acini of experimentally induced-diabetic rats and to assess the usefulness of herbal combination supplementation in improving the ultrastructure and cellular activity of exocrine pancreas. The number of albino male rats used were 24 which divided into equally 4 groups; group I: control group, group II: alloxan-induced diabetes mellitus (single intraperitoneal dose of alloxan 120 mg/kg for 3 days), group III: herbal combination treatment composed from the extracts of fenugreek seeds (Trigonella foenum-graecum), black cumin (Nigella sativa) seeds, rhizomes

A rare variant of mirror hand deformity

Congenital hand and forearm anomalies pose a unique challenge in plastic and pediatric surgery. We present a case report of an 8- months-old girl with a congenital left sided hand and forearm anomaly, provisionally diagnosed as atypical left mirror hand anomaly. Classically there is absence of radius and duplication of ulna; however, our case had normal radius and ulna and a hand with seven digits arranged in two groups. We did a surgery which involved a ray amputation of the finger ulnar to the most radial digit, aiming to preserve an adequate first web space to reconstruct the thumb. The result of the surgical treatment in both functional and cosmetic aspects was, in authors’ opinion, good.

Adapting the Grimms: Going Against Patriarchy in Singh’s Movie Mirror Mirror

Many cinematic adaptations were produced for the Grimms’ “Little Snow-White” (1812) including Mirror Mirror movie (2012), the contemporary version adapted by Taresm Singh. Singh’s version was able to depict the modern reality of women and went against patriarchy by embracing feminist ideologies of the fourth-wave feminism. Therefore, he challenged the ideologies of the mainstream cinema dominated by the patriarchal élite’s capitalist mode of production that still adhere to the stereotyped patriarchal image of women’s ‘victimization,’ ‘objectification’ and ‘marginalization,’ which did not represent women’s modern reality anymore. This paper, however, is a qualitative study aimed to prove that the femini

Light and electron microscope studies of the adult of Plearogenoides medians (Olsson, 1876) (Trematoda: Lecithodendriidae) form Iraqi marsh frog Rana ridibunda

The morphology of the Pleurogenoides medians from Rana ridibunda in Iraq was studied by light and scanning electron microscopy. The light microscopical studies confirmed the original observations with the ventral sucker being smaller than the oral sucker and the genital pore being laterally situated. Electron micrographs of adult P. medians revealed that the body surface had a rough appearance by hand-like spines, which are more sparsely distributed towards the posterior end with a presumed function in nutrient absorption.

Investigation of the Electron Coefficients of (Ar, He, N2, O2) Gases in the Ionosphere

In this study, the electron coefficients; Mean energy , Mobility and Drift velocity  of different gases  Ar, He, N2 and O2  in the  ionosphere have been calculated using BOLSIG+ program to check the solution results of Boltzmann equation results, and effect of reduced electric field (E/N) on electronic coefficients. The electric field has been specified in the limited range 1-100 Td. The gases were in the ionosphere layer at an altitude frame 50-2000 km. Furthermore, the mean energy and drift velocity steadily increased with increases in the electric field, while mobility was reduced. It turns out that there is a significant and obvious decrease in mobility as a result of inelastic collisions and in addition lit

Core Polarization Effects on the Inelastic Longitudinal Electron Scattering Form Factors of Ti 48,50 and Cr 52,54 nuclei

In this paper, inelastic longitudinal electron scattering form factors C2 and C4
transitions have been studied in Ti 48,50
and Cr 52,54
nuclei with the aid of shell
model calculations. The core polarization transition density was evaluated by
adopting the shape of Tassie model togther with the derived form of the ground state
two-body charge density distributions (2BCDD's). The following transitions have

Prospect of CW Raman Laser in Silicon- on- Insulator Nano-Waveguides

Numerical analysis predicts that continuous-wave (CW) Raman lasing is possible in Silicon-On-insulator (SOI) nano-waveguides, despite of presence of free carrier absorption. The scope of this paper lies on lasers for communication systems around 1550 nm wavelength. Two types of waveguide structures Strip and Rib waveguides have been incorporated. The waveguide structures have designed to be 220 nm in height. Three different widths of (350, 450, 1000) nm were studied. The dependence of lasing of the SOI Raman laser on effective carrier lifetime was discussed, produced by tow photon absorption. At telecommunication wavelength of 1550 nm, Raman lasing threshold was calculated to be 1.7 mW in Rib SOI waveguide with dimen

Revolutionizing Depth Sensing: A Review Study of Apple LiDAR Sensor for as-built Scanning Applications

Incorporating the LiDAR sensor in the most recent Apple devices represents a substantial development in 3D mapping technology. Meanwhile, Apple's Lidar is still a new sensor. Therefore, this article reviews the potential uses of the Apple Lidar sensor in various fields, including engineering and construction, focusing on indoor and outdoor as-built 3D mapping and cultural heritage conservation. The affordable cost and shorter observation times compared to traditional surveying and other remote sensing techniques make the Apple Lidar an attractive choice among scholars and professionals. This article highlights the need for continued research on the Apple LiDAR sensor technology while discussing its specifications and limitations. A
