An experiment was conducted to study the effect of four isolates of Pseudomonas spp. on the growth of two plants Radish & Cowpea and on the concentrations of macro elements & microelements . This experiment included two parts , the 1st. part included isolation and characterization of 4 isolates of Pseudomonas bacteria from local Iraqi soils Baghdad . The 2nd part included planting two plants Radish & Cowpea in plastic pots size 5Kg -soil in the green house Biology Dept. College of Science , after planting we added the isolates to the pots , and after 50 days, the growth parameters length , fresh and dry weight , percentage of germination were recorded , and the concentrations of macro elements Mg ,P ,K ,Fe, and Ca ,and microelements Zn ,Cl ,Mo ,Cu ,and Ba. The results showed that the bacterial isolates were effective in promoting the growth of two plants comparing with control plants , the concentrations of maco & microelements were increased in both plants after adding the bacteria to the plants. Results were analyzed statistically using the least significant difference and at the level of probability of 0.05.
Some of the characters of the Staphylolysin A and D enzymes purified from Pseudomonas aeruginosa P16 and P5 respectively were studied, the molecular weights of Staphylolysin A and D were 20.417 kilo dalton and 23.988 kilo Dalton respectively by SDS- polyacryl amide gel electrophoresis. The current paper focuses on the studying the forms of (even-even) nuclei for the heavy elements with mass numbers in the range from (A=226 - 252) for isotopes. This work will consist of studying deformation parameters which is deduced from the "Reduced Electric Transition Probability" which is in its turn dependent on the first Excited State . The "Intrinsic Electric Quadrupole Moments" (non-spherical charge distribution) were also calculated. The purpose of this study was to measure serum levels of insulin-like growth factor-binding protein (IGFBP7), Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1), Growth Hormone (GH), Interleukin 6 (IL-6) and insulin in acromegaly patients and healthy controls. The acromegaly group had 60 patients, while the population group had 30 people who had never had acromegaly before. The concentration of IGFBP7, IGF-1, GH, IL-6, and insulin were determined. The results of the present study indicate that IGFBP7 level in the acromegaly group was significantly lower (1.690.07 ng/mL vs. 2.740.12 ng/mL, respectively, p = 0.001). The presence of hydrocarbons in the soil is considered one of the main problems of pollution. In our current study, eight samples isolated from soil saturated with hydrocarbons were taken from different areas of Baghdad, Iraq. In this study, 5 isolates belonging to Pseudomonas aeruginosa by 99%, 4 isolates to Klebsiella pneumoniae by 98%, and 3 isolates to Enterobacter hormaechei by 97% were diagnosed in different ways.
