This study included the effect of chronic exposure of different concentrations of sodium chloride on the freshwater Crustacean Daphinea pulex from the order of Cladocera. The concentrations used for the chronic exposure were( 0.1‰, 0.5‰, 1‰, 1.5‰, 2‰ )to investigate the effect on the some reproductive parameter which included mean number of eggs and juveniles produced per female and per clutch,and mean number of clutch per female which decline from (6.0) clutch/female in the control treatment to (3.0) clutch/female in (2‰) concentrations, as well as to investigate the number of females produce the clutches and we found only one female produced six cluthes in the( 2‰) concentration of sodium chloride .Increasing of sodium chloride concentrations coincidence with increasing of time intervals of eggs appearance in the broadpouch as well as increasing in the time intervals between cluthes when salt concentrations increase.

The flow was simulated in a flume with 4m long, 0.4m wide, and 0.175m high with a constant bed slope. Moreover, the first Groyne placed at 1m from the flow inlet with a constant the Groyne height of 10cm and a 1cm thickness, and the width of Groynes equals 7cm. A submergence ratio of the elliptic Groynes of 75% was assumed, corresponding to a discharge of 0.0057m3/sec. Three types of medical commercial creams Silvazine, Cinolon Tar and Hydroquinon Domina were incorporated in this study. The medical creams were taken directly and placed uniformly on the glass slide. Each type of pharmaceutical was weighed at 1 mg and dispersed on an area of 1x1 cm. This process ensures same thickness for all samples. The creams were analyzed by using double-beam UV/visible spectrophotometer Metertech SP8001. The absorption spectrum for each of samples was measured against wavelength range of 300–700 nm.
