In order to study the kinetic of human erythrocytes catalase a well –known enzyme uses H2O2 as substrate as well as hydrogen acceptors, in non smokers and smoker individuals. Anthranilic acid and p-Amino Benzoic Acid (PABA) were used to study their effect on the enzyme. The kinetic study confirmed that anthranilic is a non-competitive inhibitor with Km values of 0.95 and 1.0 for non smokers and smokers respectively (PABA) was found to be a competitive  inhibitor with Vmax  values of 8.0 and 8.9 for nonsmoker and smoker respectively  

The aim was made to specify the effect of hyperthyroidism on B-type natriuretic
peptide (BNP) level. Twenty patients with hyperthyroidism, 20 patients with
hyperthyroidism treated with (35) mg Carbimazole, 12 patients with

This study included collection of 100 specimens from patients in AL-Kindy Teaching Hospital and teaching laboratories of Medical City Hospitals in Baghdad during the period from August to December 2012 ,these specimens differed in their sources which included 19 nasal swab, 16 wound swab,27 burn swab, 7 pus, 15 sputum, 10 corneal swab and 6 urine . Only 38 (38%) isolates was identified as Staphylococcus.      In this paper, the effect of iron oxide nanoparticles dust (Fe₂O₃ NPs) on the parameters of DC electric discharge plasma under vacuum in argon gas was studied with the presence of a mirror magnetron behind the electrodes (cathode and anode) at constant pressure and with different amounts of Fe₂O₃ nanoparticles. A new spectrophotometric method for individual and simultaneous determination of cefixime and cephalexin depending on the first and second derivative mode techniques. The first and second derivative spectra of these compounds permitted individual and simultaneous determination of cefixime and cephalexin in concentration interval of (4– 24μg.ml-1 ) by measuring the amplitude of peak-to-base line, pea to peak at certain wavelengths and the area under peak at selected spectrum intervals. The methods showed reasonable precision and accuracy and have been applied to determine cefixime and cephalexin in two different pharmaceutical preparations.
