In this study used three methods such as Williamson-hall, size-strain Plot, and Halder-Wagner to analysis x-ray diffraction lines to determine the crystallite size and the lattice strain of the nickel oxide nanoparticles and then compare the results of these methods with two other methods. The results were calculated for each of these methods to the crystallite size are (0.42554) nm, (1.04462) nm, and (3.60880) nm, and lattice strain are (0.56603), (1.11978), and (0.64606) respectively were compared with the result of Scherrer method (0.29598) nm,(0.34245),and the Modified Scherrer (0.97497). A new series of ?-D-glucose as Schiff bases derivatives is synthesized and characterized with studying their bioactivity. Hydroxyl groups at C (1,2&5,6) sugar moiety are converted into acetal form through a reaction with dry acetone using phosphoric acid and anhydrous zinc chloride as catalysts producing 1,2:5,6-di-O-isopropyledine ?-D-glucofuranose(I). PbS thin films growth appear as Polycrystalline cubic and sharp peak with directional (200) then  calculated   Lattice constant (a) and the values are (5.9358)Ã… for (PbS) films prepared by thermo evaporation , (2.978-5.969 Ã…) for films prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis at temperature degree   (553K , 573K)  sequence .Then it was found that the grain size for (PbS) thin films prepared by thermo evaporation is (335.81)Ã… while the grai
