Background: The aim of this study is to evaluate the color change ∆E of the dental enamel following treatment with 2 kinds of protector (icon infiltrant, clinpro varnish) before fixed orthodontic treatment to avoid the possible white spot lesions. Materials and Methods: Fifty four subjects treated with fixed appliances were divided into 3 groups: the 1st group was control, while the 2nd and 3rd groups were treated with icon infiltrant and clinpro varnish before bonding procedure, respectively. لذا سنقوم أولاً بتقدير دالة الأنحدار اللامعلمي بإستخدام ممهد Kernel ومن ثم تطبيق الطرائق الرتيبة لجعل الدالة متزايدة إذ سنتناول ثلاث طرائق للتقدير:-

The study is concern on determine the effect of different temperatures (25, 28, 30 and 370C), and different pH values (4.5, 5.5, 6 and 8) on the radial growth (mm) of 15 dermatophyte isolates (Microsporum canis 7, Trichophyton rubrum 5, Trichophyton mentagropyhtes 3). The specimens for the current study were collected from nail infections in patients with different type of leukemia whom admitted at Baghdad Educational Hospital, 7th floor. The result revels that the optimum temperature for radial growth was 300C then 280C for all isolates, while the optimum pH for all isolates was 6.

The study is concern on determine the type of Candida spp.in leukemia patients that were infected with oral candidiasis as a result to their immune suppression (weekend immune system) due to their submission to radiation and chemotherapy treatment. The result showed that the most common isolates were C. guillermondii 19 which represent 31.66% of cases, then followed by C. itermedia 11 which represent 18.3%, while the less common isolates were for C. zeylamodes 3 which represent 5%.

The research aims to compare some methods of choosing the explanatory variables and the estimation of the parameters of the regression model, which are Bayesian Ridge Regression (unbiased) and the adaptive Lasso regression model, using simulation.
