In the present work, a series of new bis cyclic imides (pyromellit imides) linked to different nitrogen heterocycles namely (pyridine, pyrimidine, phenazone and quinoline) was synthesized.
Synthesis of the new imides was performed via two steps in the first one a series of bis amic acids (pyromellit amic acids) was synthesized via reaction of pyromellitic anhydride with variety of nitrogen heterocyclic primary amines while in the second step the prepared bis amic acids were dehydrated via treatment with acetic anhydride and anhydrous sodium acetate affording the desired imides.

The molluscicidal effects of herbicide 2, 4-D were studied against tow species of freshwater snail Bulinus truncatus and Melanopsis nodosa by short term experiments. Calculated values of lethal concentrations (LC50 and LC100) were maid to two spices for different period of time 24hr, 48hr, 72hr and 96hr. The study had showed that the herbicide 2, 4-D was toxic against the tow species. The toxicity of the herbicide was low or unknown in low concentrations in the first period of exposure 24and 48hr to two spices but it increase gradually with increase period of exposure. The main goal of this paper is to present a deep study of the spatial density distribution method and the effect of a mass-based segmentation algorithm on its performance while it is being used to recognize handwritten signatures in an offline mode. The second part tests (Impact test) the laminated materials specimens used in socket manufacturing in order to get the impact properties for each socket materials groups using an experimental rig designed especially for this purpose.
