Comparison of Some Methods for Estimating Parameters of General Linear Model in Presence of Heteroscedastic Problem and High Leverage Points
...Show More Authors

Linear regression is one of the most important statistical tools through which it is possible to know the relationship between the response variable and one variable (or more) of the independent variable(s), which is often used in various fields of science. Heteroscedastic is one of the linear regression problems, the effect of which leads to inaccurate conclusions. The problem of heteroscedastic may be accompanied by the presence of extreme outliers in the independent variables (High leverage points) (HLPs), the presence of (HLPs) in the data set result unrealistic estimates and misleading inferences. In this paper, we review some of the robust weighted estimation methods that accommodate both Robust and classical methods in the detection of extreme outliers (High leverage points) (HLPs) and the determination of weights. The methods include both Diagnostic Robust Generalized Potential Based on Minimum Volume Ellipsoid (DRGP (MVE)), Diagnostic Robust Generalized Potential Based on Minimum Covariance Determinant (DRGP (MCD)), and Diagnostic Robust Generalized Potential Based on Index Set Equality (DRGP (ISE)). The comparison was made according to the standard error criterion of the estimated parameters  SE ( ) and SE ( ) of general linear regression model, for sample sizes (n=60, n=100, n=160), with different degree (severity) of heterogeneity, and contamination percentage (HLPs) are (τ =10%, τ=30%). it was found through comparison that weighted least squares estimation based on the weights of the DRGP (ISE) method are considered the best in estimating the parameters of the multiple linear regression model because they have the lowest standard error values of the estimators ( ) and ( )  as compared to other methods.

Crystal Growth of High – Purity Bi2Se3 and Study of Crystal Structure
...Show More Authors

The Bi2Se3 compound was synthesis by fusing initial compounds consisting of
extra pure elements in stoichiometric ratio from elements compound, charged inside
quartz ampoule. The crystal growth of Bi2Se3 carried out using Brighaman technique
process from melting f (Bi+Se ) at temperature of 810 ºC for about 48 hrs. Single crystal
of Bi2Se3 has been grown in direction (211) after slow cooling on account of heat
gradient to zone furnaces at cooling rate (1-3) C/hr. The structure study of the compound
was determined by x-ray diffraction technique, which it has bismuthinite structure and
orthorhombic unit cell with lattice parameters of a=10.2678 Å, b=11.2392 Å and
c=5.1737 Å

Using Artificial Neural Network Models For Forecasting & Comparison
...Show More Authors

The Artificial Neural Network methodology is a very important & new subjects that build's the models for Analyzing, Data Evaluation, Forecasting & Controlling without depending on an old model or classic statistic method that describe the behavior of statistic phenomenon, the methodology works by simulating the data to reach a robust optimum model that represent the statistic phenomenon & we can use the model in any time & states, we used the Box-Jenkins (ARMAX) approach for comparing, in this paper depends on the received power to build a robust model for forecasting, analyzing & controlling in the sod power, the received power come from

The study was conducted at the fields of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening, College of Agriculture, University of Baghdad " Abu Ghraib" during the growing seasons 2013-2014 to Evaluate the Vegetative growth , yield traits and genetic parameter of some tomato mutants. Results showed significantly increased of plant height in M6-2 mutant 245cm in Comparison with M6- 3 130 cm . M6-4 mutant significantly increasing of floral clusters 13 . Mutant M6-3 showed significantly increasing the average of, fruit weight 125.9g and plant yield 7.17 kg.plant-1 as comparison with M6-2 which showed decreasing of average of fruit weight and plant yield 79.40g and 4.38 kg.plant-1 respectively. Human Dignity and the Problem of Women Cutting Off Prayer: Women Cutting Off Prayer
...Show More Authors

Our creator has honored human beings and granted them a noble place, the provisions of the Islamic system are designed to strengthen and consolidate this dignity and respect. Since women are human beings, they have their respect, status and dignity. There are some prophetic sayings concerning women that may be understood as contrary to this value, the value of dignity and respect for human beings. One example is the Hadith of a woman cutting off a man’s prayer if she passed in front of his prayer. The study examines this topic and presents answers for it.

In dealing with the subject, the study followed the descriptive, analytical and deductive approach of mentioning legislative texts, analyzing them and deducing

Choosing the best method for estimating the survival function of inverse Gompertz distribution by using Integral mean squares error (IMSE)
...Show More Authors

In this research , we study the inverse Gompertz distribution (IG) and estimate the  survival function of the distribution , and the survival function was evaluated using three methods (the Maximum likelihood, least squares, and percentiles estimators) and choosing the best method estimation ,as it was found that the best method for estimating the survival function is the squares-least method because it has the lowest IMSE and for all sample sizes
