...Show More Authors

This research studied the relationship of patterns of investigator personality with the big five dimensions (Extraversion, stability, interoperability, openness, and personal benevolent), in facing the job stress with its resources(characteristics of the role, quality of work, organizational structure, work environment, organizational policies, social relations, and organizational processes) which the investigators exposed to it at the General Inspectors Offices.

The researcher derived the idea of research from the importance of the work of these offices in a confrontation of various cases of financial and administrative corruption in Iraq at the present time, since itis one of the most important inspection and control organizations in Iraq, through its strategic role in fighting the corruption, and enabling an appropriate environment for the comprehensive development of the anti-corruption system, and its specialized role in control on ministries and public organizations, and raise the level of their performance through the exercise of inspection and control functions that represented by audit, inspection, investigation, and performance appraisal. As well as, the large stress that the workers faced it in these offices, especially the investigators, because of the seriousness and importance of their work, which leads to a feeling of stress at work which may affect their performance and achievement of offices objectives in the fight against the scourge of corruption, since it requires that those employees must have personal attributes correspond to the nature of their work to cope with the stress they experience and reduce its negative effects.

The aim of the research is to deepen the understanding of the nature of the personal patterns of investigators of general Inspectors Offices and the extent of their adaptation to job stress that they are exposed to at work to take advantage of it now and in the future in the proper selection, appointment and investiture of employees according to their personalities and how important and dangerous tasks that fall upon themselves, to reach the desired objectives.

The researcher used a questionnaire as an essential tool for data collection, as well as interviews and the experience of the researcher during his work in one of these offices for several years. The questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of (140) people across (7) offices of General Inspectors in (7) ministries, the sample selected represent (20%) of the original community for each Office. For data processing, the researcher used statistical methods and tests.

Based on the measuring of research variables and diagnosing it, and testing correlations, effect, and differences among them. The research concluded a set of conclusions and the most important was (Personal investigators patterns (Neuroticism, Extraversion, Agreeableness, openness to experience) in the offices of inspectors general affect job stress they are exposed to).

Temperature Stress on Physiological and Morphological Traits in Rhizophora apiculata
...Show More Authors

Global warming has had considerable effects on vital ecosystems, which has also been caused by increased temperatures and CO2 that follow changes in different abiotic factors, which poses threats to mangrove forests environment. This research was conducted to examine the physiological and morphological characteristics of the Rhizophora apiculata mangrove regarding higher air temperature for the variety of tree species that respond to climate change. Seedlings were cultivated for three months in regulated growth chambers with three varying temperatures of 38°C, 21°C under CO2 at 450 ppm, and ambient CO2 concentration i.e., 450 ± 20 ppm under average temperature at 28°C as the control condition

The role of environmental stress in fish health: A review
...Show More Authors

Fish are regarded as a crucial indicator of alterations in the aquatic environment due to their position at the apex of the food chain. Monitoring these alterations is crucial for identifying modifications in the aquatic ecosystem. The principal elements influencing fish health are temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, salinity, pesticide contamination, microplastics, and algal presence. These elements substantially influence fish health regarding development, reproduction, respiration, oxygen stress, and the internal enzymes associated with digesting and other metabolic functions. Alterations in global environmental conditions and anthropogenic pollutants result in modifications to fish populations, their lives, and their behavior and

The textile industries play a prominent role in reviving the national economy, but they are currently suffering from several problems, including the high costs of their activities, the low quality of their production processes, and accordingly, the hexagonal diffraction approach came to help analyze production activities to determine which of them are the most expensive and do not have a benefit or cost greater than Its benefit as a result of waste and losses that accompany its implementation. And by applying to the Iraqi mechanical carpet factory, the research reached several conclusions, the most important of which is the presence of several sources of waste and loss, such as activities and operations that do not add value, whi

Numerical Analysis of Laminar Natural Convection in Square Enclosure with and without Partitions and Study Effect of pPartition on the Flow Pattern and Heat Transfer
...Show More Authors

The problem of steady, laminar, natural convective flow in an square enclosure with and without partitions is considered for Rayleigh number (103-106) and Prandtl number (0.7). Vertical walls were maintained isothermal at different temperatures while horizontal walls and the partitions were insulated. The length of partition was taken constant. The number of partitions were placed on horizontal surface in staggered arrangement from (1– 3) and ratio of partition thickness (H/L= 0.033, 0.083, 0.124). The problem is formulated in terms of the vorticity-stream function procedure. A numerical solution based on a program in Fortran 90 with the finite difference method is obtained. Representative results illustrating the effects of the thickn

A Systematic Operation Program of a Hydropower Plant Based on Minimizing the Principal Stress: Haditha Dam Case Study
...Show More Authors

Dam operation and management have become more complex recently because of the need for considering hydraulic structure sustainability and environmental protect on. An Earthfill dam that includes a powerhouse system is considered as a significant multipurpose hydraulic structure. Understanding the effects of running hydropower plant turbines on the dam body is one of the major safety concerns for earthfill dams. In this research, dynamic analysis of earthfill dam, integrated with a hydropower plant system containing six vertical Kaplan turbines (i.e., Haditha dam), is investigated. In the first stage of the study, ANSYS-CFX was used to represent one vertical Kaplan turbine unit by designing a three-dimensional (3-D) finite element (F
