The role of organizational symmetry in improving the quality of work life an applied research at the University of Information and Communications Technology
...Show More Authors

"The aim of the research is to identify the availability of the dimensions of the research variables represented by organizational symmetry and the quality of work-life at the University of Information and Communications Technology, which is one of the formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Baghdad, in addition to knowing the relationship and influence between them. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach based on peer description. The research was analyzed and the research sample consisted of (148) individuals, the sample was chosen using the comprehensive inventory method, data was obtained by relying on the questionnaire which was prepared from ready-made measures from foreign studies and was subjected to tests of honesty and persistence then presented to a group of scientific constituents. A number of statistical tools were used for statistical analysis (Simple linearity, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple linear regression), Also relying on the statistics program (SPSS. V.25) to test the validity of the hypotheses. The research reached several conclusions, including the level of organizational symmetry and the quality of work-life in the research organization was high for the two variables and that there is a strong impact after loyalty, which is one of the dimensions of organizational symmetry in the quality of work-life, the enhancement of organizational symmetry among the employees of the researched university will contribute to enhancing work conditions and improving opportunities for career growth in addition to social integration and leading to improving the quality of work-life, and the researchers recommended a number of recommendations that benefit a community. The most important study: Developing the quality of work-life in the researched university through the continuous pursuit of creating a general culture that believes in proposals and ideas New to workers. The originality of the current research lies in linking the two variables of organizational symmetry and quality of life work. The researcher only knows that it is the first local study that attempted to link these two vital variables.

New Viscosity Correlation for Different Iraqi Oil Fields
...Show More Authors

Viscosity is one of the most important governing parameters of the fluid flow, either in the porous media or in pipelines. So it is important to use an accurate method to calculate the oil viscosity at various operating conditions. In the literature, several empirical correlations have been proposed for predicting crude oil viscosity. However, these correlations are limited to predict the oil viscosity at specified conditions. In the present work, an extensive experimental data of oil viscosities collected from different samples of Iraqi oil reservoirs was applied to develop a new correlation to calculate the oil viscosity at various operating conditions either for dead, satura

Vertical Stress Prediction for Zubair Oil Field/ Case Study
...Show More Authors

Predicting vertical stress was indeed useful for controlling geomechanical issues since it allowed for the computation of pore pressure for the formation and the classification of fault regimes. This study provides an in-depth observation of vertical stress prediction utilizing numerous approaches using the Techlog 2015 software. Gardner's method results in incorrect vertical stress values with a problem that this method doesn't start from the surface and instead relies only on sound log data. Whereas the Amoco, Wendt non-acoustic, Traugott, average technique simply needed density log as input and used a straight line as the observed density, this was incorrect for vertical computing stress. The results of these methods

Teen-Computer Interaction: Building a Conceptual Model with Thoughts- Emotion-Behaviour
...Show More Authors

Teen-Computer Interaction (TeenCI) stands in an infant phase and emerging in positive path. Compared to Human-Computer Interaction (generally dedicated to adult) and Child-Computer Interaction, TeenCI gets less interest in terms of research efforts and publications. This has revealed extensive prospects for researchers to explore and contribute in the region of computer design and evaluation for teen, in specific. As a subclass of HCI and a complementary for CCI, TeenCI that tolerates teen group, should be taken significant concern in the sense of its context, nature, development, characteristics and architecture. This paper tends to discover teen’s emotion contribution as the first attempt towards building a conceptual model for TeenC

Employing Phytoremediation Methods to Extract Heavy Metals from Polluted Soils
...Show More Authors

The phytoremediation technique has become very efficient for treating soil contaminated with heavy metals. In this study, a pot experiment was conducted where the Dodonaea plant (known as hops) was grown, and soil previously contaminated with metals (Zn, Ni, Cd) was added at concentrations 100, 50, 0 mg·kg-1 for Ni and Zn, and at concentrations of 0, 5, 10 mg·kg-1 for cadmium. Irrigation was done within the limits of the field capacity of the soil. Cadmium, nickel and zinc was estimated in the soil to find out the capacity of plants to the absorption of heavy and contaminated metals by using bioconcentration factors (BCFs), bioaccumulation coefficient (BAC) and translocation factor (TF). Additionally, BCF values of both Ni and Zn were l

Shared Congestion Detection: A Comparative Study
...Show More Authors

Most Internet-tomography problems such as shared congestion detection depend on network measurements. Usually, such measurements are carried out in multiple locations inside the network and relied on local clocks. These clocks usually skewed with time making these measurements unsynchronized and thereby degrading the performance of most techniques. Recently, shared congestion detection has become an important issue in many computer networked applications such as multimedia streaming and
peer-to-peer file sharing. One of the most powerful techniques that employed in literature is based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) with cross-correlation operation to determine the state of the congestion. Wavelet transform is used as a de-noisin

The energy levels of the electron are calculated in the different shapes of rings, i.e., that the inner radius of rings sensitively change the electronic states. The energy levels of the electron are not sensitively dependent on the outer radius for large rings. The structures of  quantum rings are studied by the one electronic band Hamiltonian effective mass approximati
