A 5-traverse 2D resistivity survey and 20 Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) points were carried out on Ile Epo Dump Site with a view to inferring the extent of migration of leachate plumes in the subsurface for possible contamination of groundwater. The surveys were carried out with Omega model resistivity meter. The Schlumberger configuration was employed for the VES while Wenner configuration was employed for the 2D resistivity survey (Constant Separation Techniques). Samples of wastewater were taken from the Erbil wastewater channel near Dhahibha village in northern Iraq. The microalga Coelastrella sp. was used in three doses (0.2, 1, and 2g. l^-1) in this experiment for 21 days, samples were periodically (every 3 days) analyzed for physicochemical parameters such as pH, EC, Phosphate, Nitrate, and BOD₅, in addition to, Chlorophyll a concentration.
