The main purpose of this paper is to study feebly open and feebly closed mappings and we proved several results about that by using some concepts of topological feebly open and feebly closed sets , semi open (- closed ) set , gs-(sg-) closed set and composition of mappings.

   This study describes the determination of some phenols in four different zones of Tigris river in Iraq including, AL-Krieat, AL-Kadhimiya, AL-Jadiriyah, and AL-Adhamiyah. The  phenolic compounds analyzed were (2,3-dimethylphenol, 4-chlorophenol, 3-nitrophenol and 2,4-dinitrophenol) using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RPHPLC) with a UV detector on ODS-C18 column(150×4.6 mm I.D) and a mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(30:70)%(v/v) at pH 5.0, and a column temperature at 30C° with 20 µL injection.   The chalcones 1( a,b) were prepared by the reaction of  2- acetyl benzofuran with two aromatic aldehydes in the presence of alkaline media. These chalcones are used as starting material to obtain the  desired heterocyclic: pyrazolin, isoxazoline, pyrimidinthion, pyrimidinone, cyclohexanone and indazole derivatives. The structure of newly synthesized heterocyclic compounds were established on the basis of  their melting points, elemental analysis(C.H.N), FTIR and 1HMNR (for some of them) spectral data . Empirical equation has been presented to predict the optimum hydrodynamic
pressure gradient with optimum mud flow rate (one equation) of five Iraqi oil wells
to obtain the optimum carrying capacity of the drilling fluid ( optimum transport
cuttings from the hole to the surface through the annulus).
This equation is a function of mud flow rate, mud density and penetration
rate without using any charts or graphs.
