This research is important because of the importance of the subject matter and the implications for the future of development in Iraq. This requires linking the accounting systems with the economic developments. The accounting system we will address in this research is the cost accounting system and its role in determining value added tax. The value added tax and the extent of the relationship with the general accounting principles of cost accounting through which the value added is determined provided the use of a sound and effective cost system.

Echinococcosis is a zoonotic disease caused by the larval stage of the tapeworm Echinococcus granulosus. This disease is an important public health and a significant economic issue in Iraq, where the lungs and livers are the popular places of infection. Regression models are one of the most important models used in modern studies, especially research and health studies because of the important results they achieve. Two regression models were used: Poisson Regression Model and Conway-Max Well-  Poisson), where this study aimed to make a comparison between the two models and choose the best one between them using the simulation method and at different sample sizes (n = 25,50,100) and with repetitions (r = 1000).
