The transformation of power in contemporary western thought

Abstract: In accordance with contemporary Western thinking, power is an organized force with a high ability to achieve stability and social security because it possesses tools based on rational organization, which helps it to control the behavior of the individual and society and prevent them from practicing the processes of exclusion and discrimination against others in pursuit of their interests and needs. Vision The philosophers and thinkers of the theory of social contract can consolidate it, which changed the form and nature of power from the traditional heritage to the constructionWhich has contributed to the development and development of civil society - Western political, and despite the success of this experiment, especially after the guarantee and protection of human rights and freedoms in accordance with constitutional and legal frameworks, but the process of transformation of power in the globalization of democracy deviated from the natural course of development and lost its strength and balance because of hegemony And the influence of economic elites on political action, which reflected negatively on the intellectual and political structure of liberal democracy.

Urinary tract infections caused by staphylococcus aureus DNA in comparison to the candida albicans DNA

Background: Bacterial DNA released upon bacterial autolysis or killed by antibiotics, hence, many inflammatogenic reactions will be established leading to serious tissue damage. Aim: the present work aimed to elucidate the histopathological changes caused by prokaryotic (bacterial) DNA and eukaryotic (candidal) DNA. Materials and methods: twenty one Staphylococcus aureus and 36 Candida albicans isolates were isolated from UTI patients. Viable cells and DNA of the highest antibiotic sensitive isolates were injected, intraurethraly, in mice. Results were evaluated via histopathological examination. Results: Mildest reactions were obtained from mice challenged with viable C. albicans compared with those challenged with viable S. aureus. Dos

Comparing the Disease Severity in Iraqi Psoriasis Patients According to Some Immunological and Biological Factors

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that is closely related to the oxidative stress state of the body. The current study focused on some immunological indicators directly related to inflammation (Procalcitonin, and lysozyme) with the aim of investigating their potential as a prognostic factor for psoriasis. This study included 150 samples, including 90 patients with psoriasis and 40 people who appeared to be healthy, and was conducted from November 2021 to April 2022. The results showed a significant increase in the level of procalcitonin in patients with psoriasis compared to its level in the control group, while it was noted that the increase in the level of the other indicators was not significant, according to the statis

The Correlation between Serum Total Adiponectin and Hemoglobin in Type 2 Diabetic Patients without Microalbuminuria

Low serum total adiponectin is associated with a high incidence of type 2 diabetes or coronary artery disease in the general population. Paradoxically, serum total adiponectin is elevated in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), such as overt diabetic nephropathy. The current study aimed to investigate whether or not  anemia to be dependently associated with serum level of total adiponectin in  non-albuminuric male patients with type 2 diabetes . The study included 42 type 2 diabetic male patients. Anemia was defined as hemoglobin (Hb) below 14.0g/dL. All the patients were without microalbuminuria, to exclude diabetic nephropathy. The diabetic patients were divided into 2 groups according to the hemoglobin level in ad

Laminar Free Convection in Three Dimensional Inclined Porous Annulus with Fins on the Inner Cylinder

An experimental and numerical study was carried out to investigate the heat transfer by natural convection in a three dimensional annulus enclosure filled with porous media (silica sand) between two inclined concentric cylinders with (and without) annular fins attached to the inner cylinder under steady state condition. The experiments were carried out for a range of modified Rayleigh number (0.2 ≤Ra*≤ 11) and extended to Ra*=500 for numerical study and for annulus inclination angle of (δ = 0˚, 30˚, 60˚ and 90˚). The numerical study was to give the governing equation under assumptions that used Darcy law and Boussinesq’s approximation and then it was solved numerically using finite difference approximation. It was found that t
