The research discusses the relations between Turkey and Japan, which began between the Ottoman Empire and the Meiji Empire in Japan since the arrival of Sultan Abdul Hamid II to power in 1976 and his interest in Japan as the first Asian country to achieve modernization. Both faced one problem during the late nineteenth century, which is the ambitions of Tsarist Russia and the suffering of the parties suffered unequal treaties. The use of  many of the loanwords have become absolute in the Ottoman period, but even in Modern Turkish a large number of loanwords from Arabic can be often recognized because they are not subject to the strict rules of Turkish. The loanwords have come from the source language to the recipient language because of many reasons. Detecting these loanwords is complicated task due to that there are no standard specifications for transferring words between languages and hence low accuracy.
