L'action se déroule à Saragosse où il s'agit d'une histoire d'amour; un personnage d'origine noble est tombé amoureux d'une fille qui s'appelle Doña Sol qui est aimée à la fois par le Duc, Don Ruy Gomez de Silva, et par le roi, Don Carlos ; mais c'est Hernani qu'elle aime passionnent. La rivalité amoureuse de ces trois personnages pour une même fille montre l'amour qui se trouve au cœur du drame romantique.

Yousef, El- Ghad und El-Djiel. 1952 erhielt er den Sultan-ElAwies-Preis
für Literatur. Die goldene Medaille für Künste und Literaturschaffen
bekam Faradj 1956 für seinen ersten Einakter Saut Missr’/ Die Stimme
Ägyptens. Dieses Stück wurde im Dezember 1956 am Nationaltheater in
Kairo aufgeführt und von Hamdy Ghaith inszeniert.
