İmge duyuyla elde edilen güzelliklerin, deneyimin dil aracıyla ortaya konulmasıdır. Şiiri şiir yapan sadece içeriği değil. Sunuluşu, imgelerin etkili bir biçimde kullanılışı, şairinin bu konudaki yetenek ve ustalığı, insana hitap etmesi, değişimlere açık oluşu, evrenselliği, kalıcılığı, sıra dışı güçlü anlatığına başvuruşu, söz sanatlarından yararlanması, öz anlatım biçimi, kimi zaman alışılmamış bağdaştırmaları bünyesinde barındırması ve sık sık da yinelemeler yardımıyla zengin anlatım aktarımıdır.
Biz bu çalışmamızda şiirde yalnızca imge ve imgenin anlam yönünden şiire kazandırdıkları üzerinde türk şiirinden çeşitli örnekler vererek durmak istiyoruz.
Şiir dilinde imgeyi incelerken Ahmet Haşim'le başlamanın doğru olacağı kanısındayız. Haşım, herşeyden önce sembolizmin bazı özelliklerinden yararlanmış olan bir şairimizdir. Şiirde müzik anlayışını, müziğe verdiği değeri ve müzikle yaratabildiği etkili telkin yetneğini gözardı edemeyiz. Öte yandan şiirde imgeyi esas olarak alan Haşim için önemli olan maddeden uzaklaşıp öze ya da maneviyata yaklaşabilmekdir.
Metaphor has been occupied first place among eloquent methods to build metaphors;
poetry with the latter becomes senseless thing. Metaphor is necessary part of energy that
sustains the poetry. Sentence of metaphor regarded more eloquent than the reality since it
does not conduct directly to the meaning , but rather get to it indirectly. Metaphor is
considered one of the most tools for the poet since it is a means of expression about his
sensation and feelings . Andalus paid concerns over metaphors as that being incited by their
country beauty and nature. The poet might resort to contradiction as to picture contraries
within himself.
