In a previous work, Ali and Ghawi studied closed Rickart modules. The main purpose of this paper is to define and study the properties of y-closed Rickart modules .We prove that, Let  and   be two -modules such that  is singular. Then  is -y-closed Rickart module if and only if   Also, we study the direct sum  of  y-closed Rickart modules.

This research is a pragmatic study of political blame in British and Iraqi Parliaments. It aims to unfold the similarities and/or differences in terms of the pragmatic and pragma-rhetorical strategies used by British and Iraqi politicians when they exchange blame in both offensive and defensive situations. In this paper, we investigate the automatic recognition of emotion in text. We perform experiments with a new method of classification based on the PPM character-based text compression scheme. These experiments involve both coarse-grained classification (whether a text is emotional or not) and also fine-grained classification such as recognising Ekman’s six basic emotions (Anger, Disgust, Fear, Happiness, Sadness, Surprise). Experimental results with three datasets show that the new method significantly outperforms the traditional word-based text classification methods.
