Methods of Teaching Conversation in Russian Students Speaking Arabic: Методы преподавания говорения на русском языке в арабской аудитории

      This paper tackles methods of teaching conversation in Russian to students speaking Arabic. It analyses the differences between the two languages, as well as the difficulties and major errors faced by Arabic speakers studying Russian. Particularly, it looks at the difficulty of transforming spoken language. Finally, the paper suggests ways for teaching spoken language and treating the reasons behind making errors.

Аннотация

          Данная статья рассматривает методы преподавания говорения на русском языке для носителей арабского языка. В статье анализируются различия двух языков, а также основные проблемы и ошибки, с которыми сталкиваются носители арабского языка при изучении русского, в частности воспроизведения устной речи. Наконец, статья предлагает методы, направленные на обучение устной речи и устранению причин, по которым совершаются ошибки.

A Linguistic Study of Paronomasia (Al-Jinās ) in Arabic and English

Paronomasia is a recognized rhetorical device by which poets could play with words that are similar or identical in form but different in meaning. The present study aims to identify paronomasia in Arabic and English. To achieve the aim of the study, a corpus of selected verses chosen from two famous figures in Arabic and English literatures and analyzed thoroughly. The analysis of data under investigation reveals that paronomasia is a crucial aid used by poets to portrait the real world as imaginative. Comparison of the Combining Methods Used In Space Diversity

The basic concept of diversity; where two or more inputs at the receiver are used to get uncorrelated signals. The aim of this paper is an attempt to compare some possible combinations of diversity reception and MLSE detection techniques. Various diversity combining techniques can be distinguished: Equal Gain Combining (EGC), Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC), Selection Combining and Selection Switching Combining (SS).The simulation results shows that the MRC give better performance than the other types of combining (about 1 dB compare with EGC and 2.5~3 dB compare with selection and selection switching combining).
