This study done was carried out identify the species of parasitical lice on.   White cheeked bulbul(Pycnonotus leucotis).For this purpose 24 birds were collected from AlDiwaniya city and examined externally for the lice.The results showed that  P. leucotis  was infested with five species of chewing lice with a total infestation ratio of 87.5% .These species were:- Menacanthus sp., Columbicola columbae , Bonomiella columba , Coloceras damicorne and  Alcedoecus sp.       The result of this study represents the first isolation of these species from white cheeked bulbul in Iraq.The species were recorded from P. leucotis as a new host for such parasites. Hepatitis E (HE) is an inflammation of the liver caused by hepatitis E virus
(HEV) infection. Iraq is one of the Asian countries with high incidence and
prevalence of hepatitis. In this paper, HE prevalence will be determined in Al-
Muthanna province /Iraq. Commercially available Micro-ELISA for marker of
hepatitis E (HEV IgM, Foresight, USA) kit was used to test (270) patients for HEV
IgMantibodies. Also (10) blood samples from normal healthy individuals were used
as normal control in this study. Among the (270) analyzed serum samples, a total of
(72) samples (26.66 %) were found to be positive for anti-HEV IgM antibodies, and

The study area is located in Kirkuk governorate - northern Iraq, It covers an area of 630 km2.Twenty eight groundwater samples were collected from the study area during October 2012. pH, electrical conductivity(EC) and total dissolved solids (TDS) and chemical analysis of major ions (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, Cl, SO42 and HCO3) were determined. Sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), residual sodium carbonate (RSC), sodium percent (Na%) and electrical conductivity were used to evaluate the suitability of groundwater for irrigation purpose. The groundwater samples mostly have no harmful effects and no hazard in terms of SAR and RSC respectively, and permissible in terms ofNa%, but they are poor, very poor and marginal as irrigation water.

In any natural area or water body, evapotranspiration is one of the main outcomes in the water balance equation. It is also a crucial component of the hydrologic cycle and considers as the main requirement in the planning and designing of any irrigation project. The climatic parameters for the Ishaqi area are calculated from the available date of Samarra and Al-Khlais meteorological stations according to a method for the period (1982–2017) according to Fetter method. The results of the mean of rainfall, relative humidity temperature, evaporation, sunshine, and wind speed of the Ishaqi area are 171.96 mm, 49.67%, 24.86 C°, 1733.61 mm, 8.34 h/day, and 2.3 m/sec, respectively.
