6 % of Yttrium is successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method.
The XRD examination, optical, electrical and photo sensing
properties have been studied for pure and doped Co3O4 thin films.
The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis shows that all films are
polycrystalline in nature, having cubic structure.
The optical properties indication that the optical energy gap follows
allowed direct electronic transition calculated using Tauc equation
and it increases for doped Co3O4. The photo sensing properties of
thin films are studied as a function of time at different wavelengths to
find the sensitivity for these lights.

Iraqi bentonite is used as main material for preparing ceramic samples with the additions of alumina and magnesia. X-ray diffractions analyses were carried out for the raw material at room temperature. The sequence of mineral phase's transformations of the bentonite for temperatures 1000 ,1100 ,1200 and 1250 ºC reflects that it finally transformed in to mullite 39.18% and cristobalite 62.82%. An investigation was conducted for the improvement of viscosity index of light lubricating oil fraction (40 stock)
obtained from vacuum distillation unit of lube oil plant of Daura Refinery, using solvent extraction process.
In this study furfural solvent was used to extract the undesirable materials which reduce the viscosity index of raw
lubricating oil fraction.
The studied effecting variables of extraction were extraction temperature range from 70 to 110°C, and solvent to oil
