Moderation between the anvil of application and the hammer of extremism
...Show More Authors

This research study focuses on fundamental questions. It deals with the content of the critical reviews through which the most important sources that undermine the renaissance of the Islamic human society can be concluded. It is the vague fetishization of the sacred between religion, politics, and ideas, which members of society live in  and which raised the dust of closed-minded fanaticism that led to the return of deviant extremism. It is oppression, violence, and domination, all of which are professional tools in the manufacture of the ideology of extremism in all its forms. Here,  the idea matured in giving a human, intellectual and philosophical overview that mixed the required drawing in the formulation of scientific content in the face of the hammer of extremism, which is still hammering its destructive ideas on the anvil of classified moderation In our heritage within the priorities of our Islamic curriculum

The pivotal issue in the research: The pivotal issue of this  research revolves around the orbit of extremism, which is stuck in the literature of our moderate Islamic approach, which was and still as an emergent  idea in our humane Islamic society.

The goal to be achieved: revealing the communication tools on which the idea of the ideology of intellectual deviation was built, and an attempt to surround some of them in a scientific, systematic way.

The followed  scientific methodology: analysis, planning and societal comparison in the light of the realistic and traditional scientific study to develop the intellectual formula to confront the phenomenon of extremism, which was sparked by inhumane social, economic and political conditions.

Scientific importance: the call for a theory (it is not correct for someone to think about reformulating the world's societies according to his whim according to his belief or theory). Actually, this is where extremism lies, so it is of great scientific importance to understand the other with our moderate vision. We are not the only ones on earth in saving the world from emergencies of extremism. We are an integral part of the global human community.

Evaluating the Performance of High Modulus Asphalt Concrete Mixture for Base Course in Iraq
...Show More Authors

In the 1980s, the French Administration Roads LCPC developed high modulus mixtures (EME) by using hard binder. This type of mixture presented good resistance to moisture damage and improved . mechanical properties for asphalt mixtures including high modulus, good fatigue behaviour and excellent resistance to rutting. In Iraq, this type of mixture has not been used yet. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the performance of high modulus mixtures and comparing them with the conventional mixture, to achieve this objective, asphalt concrete mixes were prepared and then tested to evaluate their engineering properties which include moisture damage, resilient modulus, permanent deformation and fatigue characteristics. Three-Dimensional Finite Element Simulation of the Buried Pipe Problem in Geogrid Reinforced Soil
...Show More Authors

Buried pipeline systems are commonly used to transport water, sewage, natural oil/gas and other materials. The beneficial of using geogrid reinforcement is to increase the bearing capacity of the soil and decrease the load transfer to the underground structures.

This paper deals with simulation of the buried pipe problem numerically by finite elements method using the newest version of PLAXIS-3D software. Rajkumar and Ilamaruthi's study, 2008 has been selected to be reanalyzed as 3D problem because it is containing all the properties needed by the program such as the modulus of elasticity, Poisson's ratio, angle of internal friction. It was found that the results

The use of cold atmospheric plasma in pentostam enhancement as Leishmaniasis treatment in vitro
...Show More Authors

This study illustrates in vitro effect of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) on the treatment of Leishmania. In addition, the study evaluated the effect of drug treatment (pentostam) and the combination treatment of pentostan and CAP at different doses and incubation time 24 h in order to assess the most effective treatment. The duration of the cold plasma doses was 1 min, 2 min and 3 min, while the pentostam doses were 2.5 µg/ml and 5 µg/ml. The combinations therapies included combining the three cold plasma doses with the pentostam doses to test 6 combinations of treated in vitro. The maximum growth inhibition was given by combination treated 46% and 44% for donovani and tropica leishamnia respectively; these results give an indi

The classification of fetus gender based on fuzzy C-mean using a hybrid filter
...Show More Authors

This paper proposes a new approach, of Clustering Ultrasound images using the Hybrid Filter (CUHF) to determine the gender of the fetus in the early stages. The possible advantage of CUHF, a better result can be achieved when fuzzy c-mean FCM returns incorrect clusters. The proposed approach is conducted in two steps. Firstly, a preprocessing step to decrease the noise presented in ultrasound images by applying the filters: Local Binary Pattern (LBP), median, median and discrete wavelet (DWT),(median, DWT & LBP) and (median & Laplacian) ML. Secondly, implementing Fuzzy C-Mean (FCM) for clustering the resulted images from the first step. Amongst those filters, Median & Laplace has recorded a better accuracy. Our experimental evaluation on re

Population Density of Bemisia tabaci on Sweet Pepper (Capsicum annuum) Varieties in the Greenhouse
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>We conducted an experiment in a greenhouse at the research station belonging to the Department of Plant Protection / Ministry of Agriculture, in Abu Ghraib area during the spring and autumn season 2022-2023, to study the population density of the whitefly on two varieties of sweet pepper plant (Charisma and Sierra Nevada). The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design “RCBD” with three replicates for each variety. The results showed that in spring season the population density of B. tabaci eggs and nymphs reached the peak in the last week of May, which where 2.667 and 4.444 individual / leaf, respectively while the population density </p> ... The Influence of Helicobacter Pylori Infection on Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Patients with Gastritis
...Show More Authors

Helicobacter pylori (HP) is the etiopathogenic agent of gastric and duodenal disorders ranging from gastritis to malignancy. It is also associated with many extraintestinal diseases, including cardiovascular disease and its associated risk factors. To evaluate the link between HP infection and some cardiovascular risk factors by studying the effects of HP infection on body mass index, blood pressure, and serum lipid profile among patients having gastritis with and without HP infection. A crosssectional study included 1214 patients who had gastritis diagnosed by gastroscopy examination. Those patients were in the age range of 30-65 years and they were divided according to their gender into 725 females and 489 males depending on the 1

Fire Flame Influence on the Behavior of reinforced Concrete Beams Affected by Repeated Load
...Show More Authors

The influence and hazard of fire flame are one of the most important parameters that affecting the durability and strength of structural members. This research studied the influence of fire flame on the behavior of reinforced concrete beams affected by repeated load. Nine self- compacted reinforced concrete beams were castellated, all have the same geometric layout (0.15x0.15x1.00) m, reinforcement details and compressive strength (50 Mpa).

To estimate the effect of fire flame disaster, four temperatures were adopted (200, 300, 400 and 500) oC and two method of cooling were used (graduated and sudden). In the first cooling method, graduated, the tested beams were leaved to cool in air while in the seco

The antibacterial evaluation of dandelion extracts as root canal irrigating solutions (A comparative study)
...Show More Authors

Background: Irrigation has a central role in endodontic treatment. Several irrigating solutions have the antimicrobial activity and actively kill bacteria and yeasts when introduced in direct contact with the microorganisms. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antimicrobial effectiveness of Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) root and leaf extracts as possible irrigant solutions, used during endodontic treatments, and both were compared to Sodium hypochlorite, Propolis and Ethyl alcohol. Materials and Method: Forty seven human extracted single rooted teeth were selected. The teeth were decoronated using a diamond disk to have a length of 15 mm ±1 mm and they were instrumented using the hybrid technique. All roots were sterilized
