Abstract: Various peoples have contributed to building the Islamic civilization through the achievements and creativity of their scholars. In particular, the Kurdish scholars have provided new and great services to the Holy Qur’an that deserves attention. For example, it is no secret that Sheikh Ahmadian, with his interpretation, rendered a great service to the Glorious Book of God. His style is distinguished by modernity, seriousness and objectivity, and represents a lively response to the needs of the Kurdish Muslim people. Due to the importance of Ahmadian’s interpretation of the Qur’an, therefore, I have demonstrated his approach in this research in terms of dealing with his interpretation of the Qur’an with the Qur’an, then with the Sunnah and the sayings of the Companions and Successors, with an explanation of his approach to selection and preference, and his approach to criticism.

Ten soil samples were collected from Ishaqi project area, Salah Al-Dean Governorate, and analysed for chemical elements (Fe2O3, Al2O3, CaO, K2O Na2O, Co, Zn, Cu, and Pb) to detect the pollution in the study soil using the indices of geo-accumulation (I-geo), contamination factor (CF), and pollution load index (PLI), The results of I-geo indicate that the soil of Ishaqi project area is unpolluted with Pb, Co and slightly polluted with Zn and Cu. The results of CF for Zn, Cu, and Co showed class 2 of moderate contamination and class 1 of low contamination in some samples while those for Pb demonstrated class 1 –of low contamination. Physicochemical characteristics of groundwater in AL-Miqdadiyah town were studied by taking random water samples from six differents wells from July to December 2010. The results were compared with the international standards for drinking-water of WHO and FAO and the iraqian limits . Fourteen parameters were analysed.
