Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Graphic Design
...Show More Authors

If the Industrial Revolution has enabled the replacement of humans with machines, the digital revolution is moving towards replacing our brains with artificial intelligence, so it is necessary to consider how this radical transformation affects the graphic design ecosystem. Hence, the research problem emerged (what are the effects of artificial intelligence on graphic design) and the research aimed to know the capabilities and effects of artificial intelligence applications in graphic design, and the study dealt in its theoretical framework with two main axes, the first is the concept of artificial intelligence, and the second is artificial intelligence applications in graphic design. The descriptive approach adopted a method of content analysis to analyze three research samples to reach a number of results and conclusions, including:
1- Due to the employment of artificial intelligence in graphic design, it has facilitated the designer's work in some routine design aspects and made him focus on the creative aspects of design more broadly.
2- 2- As a result of the rapid scientific progress, the issue of creative awareness when applying artificial intelligence will be a temporary problem that can be overcome in the future and will accelerate the creative competition between it and the graphic designer

A New Fractal Printed Dipole Antenna Based on Tent Transformations for Wireless Communication Applications
...Show More Authors

In this paper, a compact multiband printed dipole antenna is presented as a candidate for use in wireless communication applications. The proposed fractal antenna design is based on the second level tent transformation. The space-filling property of this fractal geometry permits producing longer lengths in a more compact size. Theoretical performance of this antenna has been calculated using the commercially available software IE3D from Zeland Software Inc. This electromagnetic simulator is based on the method of moments (MoM). The proposed dipole antenna has been found to possess a considerable size reduction compared with the conventional printed or wire dipole antenna designed at the same design frequency and using the same substrate

Electro polymerization for (N-Terminal tetrahydrophthalamic acid) for Anti-corrosion and Biological Activity Applications
...Show More Authors

The present work reports the electrochemical synthesis of poly N Terminal tetrahydrophthalamic acid on stainless steel 316 (S.S), which acts as a working electrode, using an electrochemical polymerization technique. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) characterized the formed polymer film. Corrosion protection tests for coated and uncoated S.S with polymer film were studied in 0.2 M hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution by using electrochemical polarization technique. Kinetic and thermodynamic activation parameters (Ea, A, ΔH*, ΔS* and ΔG*) were calculated. The biological activity of the polymeric film was determined against Gram positive (Staphy

Human Activity Recognition using Smartwatch and Smartphone: A Review on Methods, Applications, and Challenges
...Show More Authors

Recently, Human Activity Recognition (HAR) has been a popular research field due to wide spread of sensor devices. Embedded sensors in smartwatch and smartphone enabled applications to use sensors in activity recognition with challenges for example, support of elderly’s daily life . In the aim of recognizing and analyzing human activity many approaches have been implemented in researches.  Most articles published on human activity recognition used a multi -sensors based methods where a number of sensors were tied on different positions on a human body which are not suitable for many users. Currently, a smartphone and smart watch device combine different types of sensors which present a new area for analysi

In2O3-ZnO pyramids like structure prepared by Spray-pyrolysis Technique for gas Sensing Applications
...Show More Authors

Polycrystalline Indium oxide (In2O3) and Indium oxide-zinc oxide (IZO) thin films mixed with 10% ZnO content were prepared by spray-pyrolysis technique at relatively low substrate temperature (150 ˚C).Field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) shows that the nanostructure at 10% ZnO content has pyramid like structure. The hall effect measurements show that the prepared samples have n-type charge carriers .The films were examined as gas sensor against H2S gas at different operating temperatures (200, 250 and 300) oC, and it was found that the IZO sample a good sensitivity to H2S gas ~ 572 % at operating temperature 200 oC, with relatively fast response time of 19 s and recovery time of 17

Land Magnetic survey along a profile from Akaz to Rutba town and its applications
...Show More Authors

A land magnetic survey was carried out along regional profile, which is located at the north part of the Iraqi western desert. It starts from al –Qaam City (at north) toward Rutba City (at south) with a total length of 238km. The survey was carried out along the paved road between the two cities, About 113 measuring points were done with inter-station distance of 2 km (for 198 km) and 2 to 5km (for 40km). Two proton magnetometers were used in this survey. One of them is used for base station monitoring, which was fixed as of Salah Aldin field (Akkas). Its readings were used for diurnal corrections. All magnetic measurements were corrected for normal and topographic corrections. The readings were reduced to a certain base level. The resu

The present study stresses two of the most significant aspects of linguistic approach: Pragmatics” and the “Speech Act Theory”, revealing its importance and the stages and levels of development through Hebrew language’s speech acts analysis including (political speech, the Holy Bible, Hebrew stories).

Chronologically, Pragmatics has always been the center of linguists’ interests due to its importance in linguistic decryptions, particularly, through “Speech Act Theory” that has been initiated and developed by the most prominent philosophers and linguistics.

GNSS Baseline Configuration Based on First Order Design
...Show More Authors

The quality of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) networks are considerably influenced by the configuration of the observed baselines. Where, this study aims to find an optimal configuration for GNSS baselines in terms of the number and distribution  of baselines to improve the quality criteria of the GNSS networks. First order design problem (FOD) was applied in this research to optimize GNSS network baselines configuration, and based on sequential adjustment method to solve its objective functions.

FOD for optimum precision (FOD-p) was the proposed model which based on the design criteria of A-optimality and E-optimality. These design criteria were selected as objective functions of precision, whic
