Abstract:
The research dealt with the study of animal drawings in the fresco, during the Umayyad period, especially in Qusayr Amra and Qasr al-Hayr al-Gharbi. Many imagesto different animals and birds were found and used in various subjects, most notably the hunting and predation scenes.

The art of calligraphy is regarded as one of the tremendous and distinct products in the history of Islamic arts through the unparalleled high ranks it reached to, until it gained Islam's indication and became a symbol for it, in terms of its function linked to the calligraphy of the holy Qur'anic texts, where this merit formed a strong impulse in seeking its development, the emergence of the calligraphic constructs, including the calligraphic straps, is one of this continual seeking products, and an advanced stage at the level of technical and expressive development, and also one of the natural results generated by the development of fonts and the increase of their employing methods through what they recorded at the level of formal char

In order to specify the features of higher education process and its quantitative and qualitative development in Iraq ; one should look back at its historical process and the need of interesting with it .

Accordingly , there will be a chance for verifying the demand of the Iraqi society according to the political , social , and cultural changes especially  during the national governance (1932 – 1958 ) .

For depicting the most important quantitative and qualitative development of this kind of education the period of 1932 -1958 , and since there is no previous study that tackled this topic , here comes the need of writing this paper .
