This research deals with the color bias and its effect on maids in Mississippi in Kathryn Stockett''s (2003) The Help. The ill-treatment and negligence of Afro-American maids received from the white women who employed them in Mississippi that must have affected directly or indirectly on their personality and may eventually lead to suffering. They live in an atmosphere of struggle to free themselves from the complicated relationships between black and white. Afro-American maids pledged to liberate themselves from social oppression by protesting through writing a book which chronicles their stories in slave masters’ homes to make their presence felt as human being equal to their white masters.

     The easternmost Mediterranean Basin is a candidate to be one of the most important hydrocarbon regions in the world, especially after significant gas discoveries in Levantine Basin in 2009. Offshore Syria is one of the easternmost Mediterranean areas which is still an unexplored virgin area. The seismic interpretation results of the study area showed encouraging evidences of considerable hydrocarbon accumulations within different sedimentary successions, which are Direct Hydrocarbon Indicators (DHIs). Venus orbit around the Sun is an ellipse inside the Earth orbit. The elements of Venus orbit and its position are affected by the gravitational force of near planets therefore the elements were determined with Julian date through ten years 2011-2020. The orbital elements used to calculate Venus distance from the Sun, the heliocentric and geocentric equatorial coordinates. From the results the orbit of Venus and its position were described and show the gravity effect of near planets on it. The results get the values and their variation through ten years for the eccentricity, semi-major axis, inclination, longitude of ascending node, argument of perihelion, mean anomaly and distance from the Sun. The variation is very small through 10 year
