phenomenon in the Arab women's contemporary literature, but it is rare in Iraqi women's
literature and falls short to the level of the phenomenon until now. Perhaps this is one of the
main reasons that caused the reluctance of researchers to study it, and this is probably the first
academic research in this field.
This research followed the discourse of Autobiography of women in Iraq, depending on the
two factors of charter and reference of the elements of Philippe Lejeune’s definition of the
genre of Autobiography, without focusing on narrative method, so it handled notes,
memories, diaries and biography of the other and counted all under the genre of the
Biography.
It came in three sections, the first followed: The tracks of development of the
Biography of Iraqi womanhood from its inception, and then it followed the kinetics of
development from self-dissolved in community affairs and public to the self that is candidate
to biography of others down to the independent self.The second topic addressed: the definition of the term of Rhetoric of the oppressed
people by Jabir Usfour, and suggested the term (The Rhetoric of the Oppressed women),
explaining the elements that allowed classification of Iraqi women Biographies in its
framework. The research also explained the legality of the study of Biography on the basis of
the sayings of old Arab rhetoric researcher in advantage of Mohammed Omari in the rhetoric
of the Biography.
In the third section the research singled the auto biography of the Iraqi writer Alia
Mamdouh in her book "The Foreigner" issued in 2013, as one of the most prominent
independent model of Biography in a literary form. It also approached the main rhetorical
mechanisms followed by the text- focusing on the rhetoric of textual seuiles in the headline,
the sub-titles and at the preface – Moreover, it focused on techniques that came on the basis of
reading the text and ranking it within the rhetoric of repression, through studying the rhetoric
of fear - that was represented in the genre of the discourse and in the setting up of the
discourse - and the rhetoric of silence - represented in the implicitating and the delet of
Focalisation.
The weak and strong forms are so called because it is not their lexical content that primary matter, but the role they have in the sentence. The problematic confusion, our students encounter, in recognizing and producing the correct pronunciation of weak and strong forms of the English function words is the main incentive behind conducting this study. Five heavy metals, namely Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, and Pb in the surface water and through the water column were studied at 10 selected stations in the Razzazah lake and Karbala drainage canal for the period between November 1990 to October 1991*. pH and total hardness were also measured. Lead was found to be the highest in concentration as overall average values, followed by an manganese, iron, copper then cadmium at the surface as well as along the water column. All the studied metals were below or close to the maximum allowed limits of Iraqi standards for inland water. The spatial and seasonal variations were discussed.
