هو ابو الحسن السري بن احمد السري الكندي الرفاء الموصلي ويعرف بالسري الرفاء وهو الاسم الذي غلب عليه، ولقب بالرفاء لانه كان يعمل في رفو الثياب وتطريزها وقد ذكره الثعالبي في اليتيمة فقال (فمنهم السري بن احمد الكندي المعروف بالرفاء)(1)ولد الرفاء في مدينة الموصل ولا تعرف سنة ولادته ولكنه من شعراء القرن الرابع الهجري الذين ذكرهم الثعالبي في يتيمته، وقد عاش صباه رفاء في سوق الرفائين في الموصل حيث سلمه والداه الى احد

تضمن هذا البحث علاقة التفسير الفقهي بالتفسير بالمأثور، وتبين أنها علاقة تلازم وترابط؛ لأنَّ الفقه هو استنباط الأحكام من أدلة الكتاب والسُّنة، وقد اعتنى بذلك المفسرون وشُرّاح الحديث، وكل واحدة منهما لا تتميز عن غيرها في الحاجة، ولا تستغني عنها في درك ما تنحوه من البغية والإرادة؛ ذاك لأنَّ الحديث بمنزلة الأساس الذي يعد الأصل، والفقه بمنزلة البناء الذي هو له كالفرع، وكل بناء لم يوضع على قاعدة وأساس فهو منهار،

يقف البحث الموسوم (تجربة الاختيار في الشعر الجاهلي وصدر الاسلام)، على العديد من النماذج الشعرية، التي عاش فيها الشاعر العربي تجربة الاختيار في العصر الجاهلي وصدر الاسلام، واتجه البحث الى تحليل العديد من النماذج المختارة من التراث العربي الشعري، وقد وقف البحث على بعض التجارب التي يقع فيها الشاعر في موقف الاختيار. و لذلك كان من المنطق ان يقسم البحث الى مبحثين: فكان الاول منها يقف على (تجربة الاختيار في الشعر
