Background: Due to the complicated and time-consuming physiological procedure of bone healing, certain graft materials have been frequently used to enhance the reconstruction of the normal bone architecture. However, owing to the limitations of these graft materials, some pharmaceutical alternatives are considered instead. Chitosan is a biopolymer with many distinguishing characteristics that make it one of the best materials to be used as a drug delivery system for simvastatin. Simvastatin is a cholesterol lowering drug, and an influencer in bone formation process, because it stimulates osteoblasts differentiation, bone morphogenic protein 2, and vascular endothelial growth factor. Objectives: histological, histochemical and histomorphometrical analyses were carried out to evaluate the effect of local application of chitosan simvastatin nanoparticles (ChSimN) on bone healing. Materials and Methods: New Zealand rabbits (n=14) were used in this study. Two defects were made: one on the right side (the experimental side) that received ChSimN and the other one on the left side (the control side), which left to heal spontaneously. Seven rabbits were sacrificed after 2 weeks of the experiments, while the others after 4 weeks. Bone samples were taken for histological and histomorphometric study after the sacrifice. Results: The histological study, using both H&E and Masson’s Trichrome stain, revealed that the ChSimN group recorded an increased amount of bone formation at both time points. Histomorphometrical analysis recorded a significant increment in bone marrow and trabecular areas in the ChSimN group. Conclusion: ChSimN had a pronounced effect on bone formation.
The present study deals with the effect of self -observation on EFL University students` achievement in conversation classes. The process of self-observation helps the teacher to understand one’s own actions and the reactions in the process of teaching. The sample of this study is EFL students in the third stage at the Department of English Language, morning studies, College of Education /Ibn-Rushd .The sample of the study consists of (84) students distributed on experimental group(A) includes (42) students, and (42) students as control group(B). In order to achieve the aim of the study ,and to gain a closer idea about the impact of reflective teaching technique(self-observation) on the students achievement in conversation classes, a chec

All samples were surveyed and examined for the presence of the Escherichia coli O157:H7 and differentiate it from other Non -Sorbitol Fermenting Escherichia coli (NSF E. coli). The Bacterial isolates were identifed by using morphological diagnostic methods, Samples were cultured on liquid enrichment medium, incubated at 37C? for 24 hrs, and then cultured on Cefixime Tellurite -Sorbitol MacConkey Agar (CT- SMAC). 32 non-sorbitol fermenting bacterial isolates were obtained of which 11 were identified as Escherichia coli by using traditional biochemical tests and API20E diagnostic system without differentiation between

The experimental test deals with five types of absorber:-
Conventional smooth flat plate absorber , Finned absorber , Corrugated absorber plate, Iron wire mesh on absorber And matrix of porous media on absorber .
The hourly and average efficiency of the collectors
... Show MoreTwo simple methods spectrophotometric were suggested for the determination of Cefixime (CFX) in pure form and pharmaceutical preparation. The first method is based without cloud point (CPE) on diazotization of the Cefixime drug by sodium nitrite at 5Cº followed by coupling with ortho nitro phenol in basic medium to form orange colour. The product was stabilized and measured 400 nm. Beer’s law was obeyed in the concentration range of (10-160) μg∙mL-1 Sandell’s sensitivity was 0.0888μg∙cm-1, the detection limit was 0.07896μg∙mL-1, and the limit of Quantitation was 0.085389μg∙mL-1.The second method was cloud point extraction (CPE) with using Trtion X-114 as surfactant. ... Show MoreDeep learning has recently received a lot of attention as a feasible solution to a variety of artificial intelligence difficulties. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) outperform other deep learning architectures in the application of object identification and recognition when compared to other machine learning methods. Speech recognition, pattern analysis, and image identification, all benefit from deep neural networks. When performing image operations on noisy images, such as fog removal or low light enhancement, image processing methods such as filtering or image enhancement are required. The study shows the effect of using Multi-scale deep learning Context Aggregation Network CAN on Bilateral Filtering Approximation (BFA) for d

The extracted insecticide from the polluted samples with these insect from air, soil, and the leaves of trees, have be used into the reaction with H2O2 and benzedine. The kinetic study of this reaction was formed in basic medium,( pH= 8.6), using UV. Spectra at (?= 420nm). The study showed that the reaction is the first order, and the speed of the reaction was used to estimate the concentration of insecticide in solution and mixture. The experiments of this study indicated that this method has the speed and efficiency for quantitatively estimating these
