Immunohistochemical evaluation for integrin binding sialoprotein on healing process of intrabony defect treated by bone sialoprotein
...Show More Authors

Background: Bone defect healing is a multidimensional procedure with an overlapping timeline that involves the regeneration of bone tissue. Due to bone's ability to regenerate, the vast majority of bone abnormalities can be restored intuitively under the right physiological conditions. The goal of this study is to examine the immunohistochemistry of bone sialoprotein in order to determine the effect of local application of bone sialoprotein on the healing of a rat tibia generated bone defect. Materials and Methods: In this experiment, 48 albino male rats weighing 300-400 grams and aged 6-8 months will be employed under controlled temperature, drinking, and food consumption settings. The animals will be subjected to a surgical procedure on the medial side of the tibiae bone, with the bone defect repaired with absorbable hemostatic material in the control group (12 rats). The experimental group (12 rats) will be treated with local administration of 30 μl bone sialoprotein fixed by absorbable hemostatic sponge. After surgery, the rats will be  slaughtered at 7, 14, and 28 days (four rats for each period). Results: Immunohistochemical analysis of bone sialoprotein by stromal cells reveal a substantial difference between the bone sialoprotein group and the control group. Conclusion:  The study concludes that local application of bone sialoprotein could be a successful therapeutic treatment for bone injuries; these findings are encouraging for future clinical use.

This research aims to test the relation and effect of the process of organizational change as an independent variable (change in human resources, technological change, change in tasks, change in organizational structure) in organizational performance as a variable of success (financial performance, operational performance, customer satisfaction, growth). And learning) in the Office of the province of Baghdad, as well as determine the existence of differences of statistical significance between the variables of research, and then try to come out with a set of recommendations to contribute to the strengthening of organizational performance, and carried out this research on the eye of the vertical number (75) individuals, The

Status Judgment : New Insight into the Promoting Process of Entrepreneurial Behavior
...Show More Authors

The present study aims to explore determinants of entrepreneurial behavior from perspective of social theory. It is based on model notions of (Tyler & Blader, 2003) which have focused on studying role of positively personal and social identity in motivating employees to practicing desired behavior which serves the organization in which they work. Based on these notions and previous literature, study model were built. This model explains the relationship between status judgments (perceived internal respect and perceived external prestige)  and entrepreneurial behavior. It includes three main hypotheses. The first and second hypothesis are concerning the relationship between status judgmen

to evaluate the effect of various Nd:YAG frequency doubled laser parameters on the acid
dissolution and the progression of in vitro caries like lesions in human enamel.
Materials and Methods: Human extracted caries free upper first premolar teeth were collected for
this study. The irradiated teeth were divided into two groups. The first group was irradiated with
continuous Nd:YAG laser radiation, and the second group was irradiated with chopped Nd:YAG laser
radiation. For the first group, power and exposure time were changed while for the second group
power and number of pulses were changed. The spot diameter was kept constant for all the samples.
Results: using 1.5 W and 3 seconds (exposure time), best results among

A Past, Present, and Prospective Review on Microwave Nondestructive Evaluation of Composite Coatings
...Show More Authors

Recent years have witnessed an increase in the use of composite coatings for numerous applications, including aerospace, aircraft, and maritime vessels. These materials owe this popularity surge to the superior strength, weight, stiffness, and electrical insulation they exhibit over conventional substances, such as metals. The growing demand for such materials is accompanied by the inevitable need for fast, accurate, and affordable nondestructive testing techniques to reveal any possible defects within the coatings or any defects under coating. However, typical nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), infrared thermography (IRT), eddy current testing (ECT), and laser shearography (LS) have failed to p

In vivo evaluation the efficiency of nitazoxanide with cationic Gemini surfactant on Cryptosporidiosis
...Show More Authors

Infection with cryptosporidiosis endangers the lives of many people with immunodeficiency, especially HIV patients. Nitazoxanide is one of the main therapeutic drugs used to treat cryptosporidiosis. However, it is poorly soluble in water, which restricts its usefulness and efficacy in immunocompromised patients. Surfactants have an amphiphilic character which indicates their ability to improve the water solubility of the hydrophobic drugs. Our research concerns the synthesis of new cationic Gemini surfactants that have the ability to improve the solubility of the drug Nanazoxide. So, we synthesized cationic Gemini surfactants. Evaluation of Air Pollution Tolerance Index (APTI) by two species of terrestrial plants in some stations within Babylon Province, Iraq
...Show More Authors

This study deals with air pollution tolerance index (APTI) and anatomical variation in leaves of two species of terrestrial plants Ficus sp. and Conocarpus sp. that have bee commonly the separated along roadsides in many stations within Babylon province. APTI values of both species were less than 10 during study period which represented sensitivity of these plants to air pollution. There are Anatomical responses to pollution in the leaves of both studied species. Main adaptations included increased thickness of parenchyma cell walls with clear dark deposits in sections of Ficus sp. from sections of stations 2 and 4 which represent polluted stations. Conocarpus sp. main adaptation included stomata increased in density and decreased in size w

Effects of Hydrogen Peroxide Concentration on Properties of Black Silicon Fabricated by Two-Step Silver-Assisted Wet Chemical Etching for Photovoltaics
...Show More Authors

Crystalline silicon (c-Si) has low optical absorption due to its high surface reflection of incident light. Nanotexturing of c-Si which produces black silicon (b-Si) offers a promising solution. In this work, effect of H2O2 concentrations towards surface morphological and optical properties of b-Si fabricated by two-step silver-assisted wet chemical etching (Ag-based two-step MACE) for potential photovoltaic (PV) applications is presented. The method involves a 30 s deposition of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) in an aqueous solution of AgNO3:HF (5:6) and an optimized etching in HF:H2O2:DI H2O solution under 0.62 M, 1.85 M, 2.47 M, and 3.7 M concentrations of H2O<
