Background: The Infraorbital foramen is an anatomical structure with an important location in the maxilla, position of foramen in maxillofacial area is necessary in clinical situation requiring regional nerve blocks that are performed in children undergoing facial surgeries to avoid injury to corresponding nerve. The aim of study was to determine the position of the Infraorbital foramen and to correlate Infraorbital foramen position with age and gender using computed tomography. Subjects, Materials, and Methods: The sample consist of prospective study for 50 Iraqi subjects (21 male and 29 female) with age ranged from (5-17) years. The examination was performed on Multi – Slice Spiral Tomography scanner in Al-Karakh General Hospital. Using sagittal and coronal sections including right and left sides and the following measurements were done: 1. The distance from crista galli to the midpoint of fusion of hard palate(Midline of the patient) in the coronal section. 2. The distance from mid line to the infraorbital foramen, in the coronal section for both sides right and left. 3. The distance from sella turcica to the infraorbital foramen, in sagittal section for both sides right and left. 4. The distance from nasion to the infraorbital foramen, in coronal section for both sides right and left. Results: The partial regression coefficient for each year increase in age the linear measurements (midline-infraorbital foramen) (nasion-infraorbital foramen) and (vertical distance from nasion meeting the horizontal line from infraorbital foramen to midline) are expected to significantly increase after adjusting for confounding effect of gender. From multiple linear regression model designed in this study two mathematical formulae were derived for correlation of infraorbital foramen position with the age and gender:- Y1 [Linear measurement (Midline-Infraorbital foramen) mm] = 19.56 + (1.02 x gender) + (0.53x age in years). Y2 [Linear measurement (vertical distance from nasion meeting the horizontal line from Infraorbital foramen to midline)] = 28.42 + (2.5 x gender) + (0.30 x age in years). Conclusions: Computed tomography scan information facilitates the localization of infraorbital foramen position for successful access of the needle in infraorbital nerve block in children of different age and gender.
It included the introduction to the research and its importance, as the knee joint is one of the important joints in the human body that are susceptible to injury, and among these injuries is the roughness of the knee that occurs as a result of weakness and imbalance in the work of the quadriceps muscle, so its treatment is through rehabilitation exercises to treat weakness and gain flexibility and strength.Hence the importance of the research by developing rehabilitation exercises with different resistances in the water medium and restoring flexibility and muscular strength for patients with knee roughness for ages from 30-40 years, and the experimental method was used to solve the research problem, and the research sample included (6) of

It was found that, radon concentrations in studied samples ranged between 1.2 Bq.m-3 to 142 Bq.m-3. The results of the radon concentrations and the rate of annual effective dose for drinking water samples were significantly lower than the USEPA and WHO recommended limits that equal 500 Bq/m3 and 1 mSv/y resp

The aim was to study the effect of water fish irrigation and water lens plant extract foliar application on the growth and productivity of beetroot. The experiment included two factors: the first factor was water fish irrigation with five concentrations (A) Control treatment (irrigation with river water and recommended fertilization), (B) Water fish irrigation at 25% concentration, (C) water Fish irrigation at 50% concentration, (D) Water Fish irrigation at 75%
The aim of the current research was to examine the correlation between neuromuscular coordination and setting and spiking skills of football tennis players. The researcher used the descriptive approach in investigating the relationship between neuromuscular coordination and setting and spiking skills. The sample of the research was selective and composed of 45 youth players of the Specialized Football Tennis School in Baghdad Province with age of 16 years and above. The research sample was subjected to the relevant tests and the results obtained analyzed statistically to establish whether there is a relationship between neuromuscular coordination and setting skill on the one hand and neuromuscular coordination and spiking skill on t

This research was conducted from October 2018 until April 2019, including (110) children below 12 years from both gender in some Hospitals, Primary Health care centers, Public Primary Schools and Kindergarten in Baghdad, Iraq. The objective of this study is to determine the possible correlation between iron deficiency anemia and inflammatory immune response among children infected with Entamoeba histolytica or Giardia lamblia. Blood samples were taken from all groups to measure hemoglobin level, serum iron, total iron binding capacity (TIBC), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration

Geographic information system (GIS) is utilized in a variety of tasks such as, resource management, urban planning, emergency planning in case of accident, and rapid response etc. The aim of this study is to produce a digital map with the aid of GIS and a survey data. A survey data is conducted with Total Station technique on sanitary planning positions. The campus of Baghdad University is chosen to test the execution and accuracy of the results for sewer manholes locations. During the field survey, Total Station (Nikon Nivo) is used to identify the 3-D coordinates for each location. Finally, Geographical Information System (GIS) are utilized to present the digital map of the network sewer pipe line to the end users. Although Geographic Inf
