Immediate Implant Placement in Fresh Extraction Socket
...Show More Authors

Background: In the traditional protocol, the patient should wait after extraction up to six months to place the dental implant in healed bone, this waiting time accompanied by varying degrees of alveolar bone changes. In order to overcome these problems, immediate implant placement in the fresh extraction socket was introduced. The Aim of this study was to evaluate the outcome of the immediate implant placement utilizing Resonance Frequency Analysis (RFA) to quantify implant stability and osseointegration. Materials and Methods: A total of (23) patients participated in the study, receiving (44) implants placed in the sockets of teeth indicated for extraction. Clinical and radiographic preoperative assessment was accomplished for each patient, β-TCP (combined with collagen membrane) was used to fill gaps ≥ (2 mm) and to repair bone defects. Implant stability quotient (ISQ) values were measured for the implants at baseline and at 16 weeks. Postoperative clinical and radiographic evaluation was applied for each patient. Results: A total of (22) patients received (41) implants completed the follow-up period, all these implants survived (100% survival rate) with no signs and symptoms of failure. The mean of ISQ value at baseline was (65.32±9.50), the mean of ISQ value at 16 weeks was (69.78±7.15), paired samples statistic showed high significant increase in the implant stability (P<0.01). Application of guided bone regeneration (GBR) showed no significant difference on ISQ value at baseline and at (16 weeks), but ISQ values increased significantly in GBR cases during the healing period. Conclusions: Immediate implant placement is a predictable treatment approach; it has the benefit of reducing treatment time and the numbers of surgical procedures when careful preoperative examination and appropriate intraoperative protocol is applied.

Difficulties in Forming Compound Sentences in Spanish for Arabic Speakers
...Show More Authors

A sentence is a key part of Spanish grammar and serves as the fundamental unit in constructing discourse. However, foreign language learners, particularly Arabic speakers, may face complex aspects that hinder their understanding and correct use of sentences. Additionally, there are at least two linguistic approaches that describe the use of compound sentences: one considers the sentence as the basic unit for discourse analysis, while other studies, starting with Van Dijk (2003), emphasize the importance of understanding both the partial and holistic structure of discourse. Therefore, we consider the significance of reviewing the linguistic differences between the native language and Spanish as a potential cause of misunderstanding a

We refer in this research into linguistic binaries, try rounding of simiaei news analysis. It is known that there are branches of Linguistics called social Linguistics, divided into communicative Linguistics and media. Perhaps the best justification for the inclusion of a new curriculum in media studies is a semiotic analysis of the news. I›ve turned the speech, language and communication studies in relation to different disciplines, many research projects, and returned only old curriculum, speed shift in thought, proportional to the revolution in information and communication technology, for reality imposed on the entire world, researchers are the first affected by this enormous humanitarian Almanza. Acontaminated ophthalmic solutions represent a potential cause of avoidable ocular infection. This study aimed to determine the magnitude and pattern of microbial contamination of eye drops in out patient at the department of ophthalmology, at Baghdad national hospital, Iraq. Fifty four vials from the out patient clinic were obtained for microbial examination after an average use of 2 weeks. The dropper tip and the residual eye drop were examined for contamination. The specimens were cultured, the number of colonies counted, the organisms identified. Eight (15%)  out of 54 analyzed vials were contaminated , most bacteria identi

Optimization of Infill Drilling in Whicher Range Field in Australia
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Now that most of the conventional reservoirs are being depleted at a rapid pace, the focus is on unconventional reservoirs like tight gas reservoirs. Due to the heterogeneous nature and low permeability of unconventional reservoirs, they require a huge number of wells to hit all the isolated hydrocarbon zones. Infill drilling is one of the most common and effective methods of increasing the recovery, by reducing the well spacing and increasing the sweep efficiency. However, the problem with drilling such a large number of wells is the determination of the optimum location for each well that ensures minimum interference between wells, and accelerates the recovery from the field.
