Background: The outlook for patients with stomach cancer is generally poor, with gastric cancer being the second most common cause of cancer death. Although advances in diagnosis and treatment have led to a drastic decrease in the incidence of gastric cancer in developed countries in the past few decades. Aim: Our current study aims to evaluate the clinical and pathological outcomes associated with the effect of H. pylori on gastritis (gastric cancer) patients. Methods: To evaluate the association between gastritis (gastric cancer) and H. pylori, demographic and diagnostic parameters of 103 patients were recorded during the follow-up period, which ranged from October 2023 to October 2024, In several hospitals in Iraq. Our study detected the degree and severity of H. pylori by polymerase chain reaction. The quality of life of patients was assessed by a general health assessment (SF - 36) questionnaire, and a curve was made to show the survival rate of patients during the follow-up period. Results: Our outcomes found patients with ages above 45 years were the most group participated, with 42.72%, males with 62 cases and females with 41 cases, obesity with 42.72%, smokers with 36.89%, and alcohol consumption with 12.62%. According of gastric cancer, the upper tumor got 40.78%, tumor size had 6.12 ± 1.42, lymph node metastasis of N1 was 32.04%, N3 was 11.65%, and N2 was 18.45%. Clinical of tumor signs were CEA ?6 ?g/L include 86.41%. Conclusion: Based on our outcomes, gastric cancer remains a large global health problem because H. pylori implicates it as a major risk factor for it
The root-mean square-radius of proton, neutron, matter and charge radii, energy level, inelastic longitudinal form factors, reduced transition probability from the ground state to first-excited 2+ state of even-even isotopes, quadrupole moments, quadrupole deformation parameter, and the occupation numbers for some calcium isotopes for A=42,44,46,48,50 are computed using fp-model space and FPBM interaction. 40Ca nucleus is regarded as the inert core for all isotopes under this model space with valence nucleons are moving throughout the fp-shell model space involving 1f7/2, 2p3/2, 1f5/2, and 2p1/2 orbits. Model space is used to present calculations using FPBM intera

The fp shell model space with four orbits and eight neutrons have been considered and FPD6 has been selected between 32 model space effective interactions to generates the model space vectors for the M1 transition with excitation energy Ex =10.23 MeV and for constructing OBDM. Discarded space (core and higher configuration orbits) has been included through the first order perturbation theory to couple the partice-hole pair of excitation in the calculation of the total M1 form factor and regarding the realistic interaction M3Y as a core polarization interaction with six sets of fitting parameters. The difference is that the design structure of porous pavements allows the free passage of fluids through their layers, which controls or reduces the amount of runoff or water accumulated in the area by allowing the flow of rain and surface runoff. The cross-structure of this type of paving works as a suitable method for managing rainwater and representing groundwater recharge. The overall benefits of porous asphalt pavements include environmental services and safety features, including controlling the build-up of contaminated metals on the road surface, rainwater management, resistance to slipping ac

However, the sustainability of the roadway depends mainly on the welfare of its subgrade soil condition. In this work, Gypseous soil was stabilized with asphalt emulsion for subgrade usage, the durability of the mixture has been assessed in term of its ability to maintain the compressive strength when practicing the environmental impacts. Specimens of 38 mm in diameter , and 76 mm in height have been prepared with various water-asphalt percentages, and subjected to 30 cycles of (freezing-thawing), (heating-cooling) and (wetting-drying) processes. Specimens have been tested for unconfined comp

Show More- The sandy soil with high gypsum content (usually referred to as gypseous soil) covers vast area in south, east, middle and west regions of Iraq, such soil possess a type of cohesive forces when attached with optimum amount of water, then compacted and allowed to cure, but losses its strength when flooded with water again. Much work on earth reinforcement was published which concentrate on the gain in bearing capacity in the reinforced layer using different types of cohesive or cohesion less soil and various types of reinforcement such as plastic, metal, grids, and synthetic textile. Little attention was paid to there enforce gypseous soil. The objective of this work is to study the interaction between such soil and reinforcement strips

Objective: The current research study attempted to find out whether the presence of SNPs in TNF receptor [TNFRSF1A (rs767455), TNFRSF1B (rs1061622)] encoding genes could influence patients' outcomes to etanercept in a specimen of Iraqi AS patients. Patients and methods: Sixty patients with established AS receiving only etanercept were selected to be enrolled in this research with a mean age of 40.75 ± 8.67 years, 51 patients of them were males and only 9 patients were females. BACKGROUND: Volar Barton’s fracture is a shearing mechanism of injury that results in fracture and subluxation of distal end radius in which volar rim of the distal radius is displaced with hand and carpus. Open reduction and volar plate fixation ensure more stable change of displacement, preservation of reduction, and early mobilization. AIM: This study aims to assess the functional and radiological outcome results of volar Barton’s fracture treated by volar buttress plate using the demerit points system of Gartland and Werley. PATIENTS AND METHODS: This study is a prospective descriptive observational study on 32 patients who were treated with ORIF by volar buttress plate for isolated volar Barton’s fractures between Fe
