The present work is concerned with the finding of the optimum conditions for biochemical wastewater treatment for a local tannery. The water samples were taken from outline areas (the wastewater of the chrome and vegetable tannery) in equal volumes and subjected to sedimentation, biological treatment, and chemical and natural sedimentation treatment.

                   Ticagrelor is an orally administered antiplatelet medicine, direct-acting P2Y12-receptor antagonist. Ticagrelor binds reversibly and noncompetitively to the P2Y12 receptor at a site distinct from that of the endogenous agonist adenosine diphosphate (ADP). Inhibition of platelet aggregation stimulated by ADP is a commonly used pharmacodynamic parameter for P2Y12-receptor antagonists.

                  Ticagrelor is a crystalline powder with an aqueous solubility of approximately 10?g/mL at room temperature.

Vacuum gas oil (611-833)K was distilled from Kirkuk crude oil, which was obtained by blending the following fraction,
light vacuum gas oil (611 - 650) K, medium vacuum gas oil (650-690)K, heavy vacuum gas oil (690-727)K and very

The vacuum gas oil was hydrotreated on a commercial cobalt-molybdenum alumina catalyst presulfied at specified
condition in a laboratory trickle bed reactor. The reaction temperature varied from (583-643)K over liquid hourly space

However, lately this control method is not widely accepted due to an increase in environmental awareness, food safety concerns and the increasing number of insecticide-resistant species. In Iraq, the chemical insect pest control is still a dominant control method regardless of the increased pressure to replace it gradually with environment friendly alternatives such as predators, parasitoids, nematodes and entomopathogenic fungi. In Iraq, there is an increasing volume of research that has used different genus and species of entomopathogenic fungi for controlling several agricultural pests. A series of experiments have been taken out to test the validity of the effect of Aluminum hydrate on its interaction with Aluminum during sintering of aluminum metal matrix. The approach has been shown to be valid and several compositions have been fabricated. The alumina hydrate particle size and the amount of alumina hydrate in the composites are also shown to have an influence on the extent of densification.

The densities for all sintered specimens were measured. It was found that density increases as compaction pressure increases, the density decreases as particles size increases. At 400 MPa there is an optimum particles size which is (90-125) µm to reach maximum density and the density decreases as volume fraction increase

The aerial part of Iraqi Anabasis aphylla (Chenopodiaceae) had been investigated for its alkaloidal contents.The alkaloid anabasine [2-(3-pyridyl)-piperidine] [1] & aphyllidine were isolated from an ethanolic extract of the plant. Isolation of the alkaloid was done by column chromatography followed by preperative thin layer chromatography. Identification of the isolated alkaloid was done by different spectroscopic methods (UV,IR), refractive index & TLC using authentic sample & preparation of a salt.
