Objectives: a study of surgical procedures used in the management of sciatic n injury & acomparism between them including comparism with other universal studies.
Patients and methods: 62 patients collected from the neuro-surgical unit in the specialized surgical hospital from Jan-2004 till October 2007, all patients studied thoroughly regarding age, Gender, type of injury, time of injury & outcome.
Results: 85% of our patients were ♂, 45% were in the age of 21-30 years, most injured by bullet or shells, the delay in surgery was mostly 1-3m, the repair is by direct suture 45%, 29% release of adhesions 16%, excision of neuroma & suturing, 9.6% by nerve graft, the direct suturing carried the best results, & grafting the worse type, comparism done with universal studies.
Conclusion: Direct suturing of neural sheath (Epineurium) caries the best results if done at proper time.
Was conducted neutralize content Albulamedi for local isolates using Alacardan dye orange selection experience showed loss of local isolates resistant life antibiotic ampicillin, chloramphenicol
Background: Tear of MCL of the knee is a frequent problem among knee ligaments injuries.Injuries to the MCL are usually caused by contact on the outside of the knee and are accompanied by sharp pain on the inside of the knee. Contrary to most other knee ligaments the medial collateral ligament (MCL) has an excellent ability to heal, being fairly large and well vascularised structure. The vast majority of isolated medial ligament injuries heal without significant long-term problems
Objectives: is to compare between the early clinical examination, and assessment under general anesthesia (GA), and to find out the best methods to assess the MCL tear especially in suspected cases.

These aspects include the components of smart grids, the detailed functions of the smart energy meters within the smart grids and their effects on increasing the awareness, the advantages and disadvantages of smart grids, and the requirements of utilizing smart grids. To put some light on the difference between smart grids and traditional utility grids, some aspects of the traditional utility grids are covered in this paper as well.
The existence of contractual responsibility, together with civil liability, provoked a profound disagreement in jurisprudence that amounted to a claim to renounce the traditional division between the two responsibilities, and to adhere to uniform rules governing civil liability provisions. These calls have increased and culminated in the writings of the scholar Philip Remy, who explicitly called to the abolition of contractual responsibility, therefore, this research is an attempt to review the modern doctrinal views that denied the existence of contractual responsibility as an independent system Beside civil liability, and to demonstrate the validity to benefit from them in the development of our legislative systems and God conciliator.
... Show MoreWe used to think of grammar as the bones of the language and vocabulary as the flesh to be added given that language consisted largely of life generated chunks of lexis. This “skeleton image” has been proverbially used to refer to that central feature of lexis named collocation- an idea that for the first 15 years of language study and analysis gave a moment‟s thought to English classroom material and methodology.
The work of John Sinclair, Dave Willis, Ron Carter, Michael McCarthy, Michael Lewis, and many others have all contributed to the way teachers today approach the area of lexis and what it means in the teaching/learning process of the language. This also seems to have incorporated lexical ideas into the teaching mechanis
The virulent genes are the key players in the ability of the bacterium to cause disease. The products of such genes that facilitate the successful colonization and survival of the bacterium in or cause damage to the host are pathogenicity determinants. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of virulence factors (esp, agg, gelE, CylA) in E. faecalis isolated from diverse human clinical collected in Iraqi patient , as well as to assess their ability to form biofilm and to determine their haemolytic and gelatinase activities. Thirty-two isolates of bacteria Enterococcus faecalis were obtained, including 15 isolates (46.87%) of the urine, 6 isolates (18.75%) for each of the stool and uterine secretions, and 5 isolates (15.62%) of the wo
... Show MoreIn this paper, we study the effects of coherent and incoherent illumination on the optical imaging system. The effects were studied qualitatively in terms of Point Spread Function (PSF) and Modulation Transfer Function (MTF), and quantitatively in terms of Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Different values of radius of aperture were investigated in the presence and absence of spherical aberration with various magnitudes of spherical aberration (M=1, 2, and 3). The experiments were performed using homogeneous media.
The results show that imaging with incoherent illumination is better than imaging with coherent illumination, especially for small aperture. Also, we found that the effects of spherical aberration
