Shuaiba Formation is an important formation in Iraq, because of their deposition in the important period during the geological history of Arabian plate. The study is focused on a number of selected wells from several fields in southern Iraq, despite the many of oil studies to Shuaiba Formation but it lacks to paleontological studies. In this paper, fire resistance and residual capacity tests were carried out on encased pultruded glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) I-beams with high-strength concrete beams. The specimens were loaded concurrently under 25% of the ultimate load and fire exposure (an increase in temperature of 700 °C) for 70 min. Subsequently, the fire-damaged specimens were allowed to cool and then were loaded statically until failure to explore the residual behaviors. Preparation and Identification of some new Pyrazolopyrin derivatives and their Polymerizations study

               The new symmetry pyromellitdiimide [VII]_a-c,n  were synthesized by two-step reactions from the corresponding pyromellitic dianhydride . A new symmetrical amic acid [VI]_a-c,n was synthesized by the reaction of pyromellitic dianhydride with different heterocyclic amines in dry acetone . The second reaction step includes  intramolecular cyclization of amic acid in the presence of  sodium acetate -acetic anhydride system at 85⁰C. Structures  of  the synthesized compounds have been ascertained by their melting points , C.H.N analysis , UV-Vis, FTIR and ¹HNMR spectroscopy.

Schiff bases, named after Hugo Schiff, are aldehyde- or ketone-like compounds in which the carbonyl group is replaced by imine or azomethine group. They are widely used for industrial purposes and also have a broad range of applications as antioxidants. An overview of antioxidant applications of Schiff bases and their complexes is discussed in this review.
