Dispersion Parameters of Thermally Deposited Thin Lithium Floride Films at Different Annealing Temperatures
...Show More Authors

Thin Lithium Fluoride films have been prepared by thermal evaporation technique on glass substrate under vacuum of about 10-5mbar. The thickness of the films was 4000±50Å. The effects of annealing temperatures on the optical properties and dispersion parameters have been studies. Transmittance spectra of the films indicate that the films have high transparency. The optical absorption studies reveal that the transition is direct with band gap value varied with the annealing temperatures. Also the refractive index dispersion curves obey to the single oscillator's model. The dispersion energy and single-oscillator energy varied with the annealing temperatures

Effect of thickness on structural properties of BixSb2-xTe3 thin films
...Show More Authors

BixSb2-xTe3 alloys with different ratios of Bi (x=0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, and 2) have been prepared, Thin films of these alloys were prepared using thermal evaporation method under vacuum of 10-5 Torr on glass substrates at room temperature with different deposition rate (0.16, 0.5, 0.83) nm/sec for thickness (100, 300, 500) respectively. The X–ray diffraction measurements for BixSb2-xTe3 bulk and thin films indicate the polycrystalline structure with a strong intensity of peak of plane (015) preferred orientation with additional peaks, (0015) and (1010 ) reflections planes, which is meaning that all films present a very good texture along the (015) plane axis at different intensities for each thin film for different thickness. AFM measureme

Electrical Conductivity and Hall Effect Measurements of (CuInTe2) Thin Films
...Show More Authors

In this research, the electrical conductivity and Hall effect measurements have been investigated on the CuInTe2 (CIT) thin films prepared by thermal evaporation technique on glass substrate at room temperature as a function of annealing temperature (R.T,473,673)K for different thicknesses (300 and 600) nm. The samples were annealed for one hour.    The electrical conductivity analysis results demonstrated that all samples prepared have two types of transport mechanisms of free carriers with two values of activation energy (Ea1, Ea2), and the electrical conductivity increases with the increase of annealing temperature whereas it showed opposite trend with thickness , where the electrical conductivity would d

Optical Properties for SeTe Thin Films
...Show More Authors

Chalcogenide glasses SeTe have been prepared from the high purity constituent elements .Thin films of SeTe compound have been deposited by thermal evaporation onto glass substrates for different values of film thickness . The effect of varying thickness on the value of the optical gap is reported . The resultant films were in amorphous nature . The transmittance spectra was measured for that films in the wavelength range (400-1100) nm . The energy gap for such films was determined .

Thermoelectric Power of Amorphous InAs Thin Films
...Show More Authors

The thermoelectric power (S) of thermal evaporated a-InAs films

were measured in the temperature rang (303-408) K.

These films were prepared at different thickness (250,350,450) nm and treated at different annealing temperatures (303,373,423,473,523) K.

The behaviour  of the thermoelectric power  studies of these films

as  a  function  of  thickness  and  annealing  temperature  showed  the thermoelectric  power an increasing trend with annealing temperature

,whereas it decreases as the film thickness increases.

Synthesis and Characterization of SnS: 3%Bi thin Films for Photovoltaic Applications
...Show More Authors

In the present article, Nano crystalline SnS and SnS:3% Bi thin films were fabricated using thermal
evaporation with 400±20 nm thickness at room temperature at a rate deposition rate of 0.5 ±0.01nm
/sec then annealing for one hour at 573 K for photovoltaic application. The prepared samples were
characterized in order to investigate the structural, electrical, morphological, and optical properties
using diverse techniques. XRD and SEM were recorded to investigate the effect of doping and
annealing on structural and morphological possessions, respectively. XRD showed an SnS phase
with polycrystalline and appeared to form an orthorhombic structure, with the distinguish trend
along the (111) grade,

Study the Effect of Annealing on the Structural Properties of Zinc Oxide Films by Electrolysis Technique
...Show More Authors

Zinc oxide films (ZnO) are prepared by an electrolysis technique and without vacuum and then annealed atvarious temperatures (300,400,500)OC for an hour. The structural analysis performed by X-Ray diffraction (XRD) shows, dominant orientation of this films is plane (101), has a hexagonal structure and  polycrystalline pattern and it was is found that the crystal size increases(24,29) nm at annealing temperatures (300, 400)° C, but the crystal size decreases to (20 nm) at annealing temperature (500 ° C). As the results of a surface nature study of these films showed by examining the atomic force microscope (AFM), the grain  size increases from (60.79 to 88.11) nm, and the surface roughnes

Effect of iodine doping on the characteristics of polythiophene thin films prepared by aerosol assisted plasma jet polymerization at atmospheric pressure
...Show More Authors

Iodine-doped polythiophene thin films are prepared by aerosol assisted plasma jet polymerization at atmospheric pressure and room temperature. The doping of iodine was carried out in situ by employing iodine crystals in thiophene monomer by weight mixing ratios of 1%, 3%, 5% and 7%. The chemical composition analyses of pure and iodine-doped and heat-treated polythiophene thin films are carried out by FTIR spectroscopy studies. The optical band gaps of the films are evaluated from absorption spectrum studies. Direct transition energy gaps are determined from Tauc plots. The structural changes of polythiophene upon doping and the reduction of optical band gap are explained on the basis of the results obtained from FTIR spectroscopy, UV–V
